I believe I like this ware better than sterling. I think sterling silver is highly overrated. This silverware is all I need. I love the pattern and the weight.

If you have ever eaten food before you have most likely have had some type of contact with the ONEIDA brand. They are historically a quality provider. And with this set of silverware you will not be disappointed. The satisfaction starts with the manufacturing and shipping boxes that arrive at your door. The packaging is well done and you note the heft of these utensils right away. These things are stout! The varying sizes of the pieces are an excellent feature. Everything seems just the right size for human mouths. The design and feel of the handles is very hand friendly. They would probably mix in nicely with just about any current sets of silverware. But I have a wonderful family next door, a single mom with three girls. I think they will love this bit of luxury for their table. If the boxing had spaces for each piece, forks, knives, spoons, etc. instead of rubber bands and bubble wrap I may have given an extra star. Of course I am just being picky here.

After months of owning the set, I can comfortably state that I will be long gone before this dining ware set needs replacement. Incredibly solid and not one that’s going to have mishaped spoons and forks in a few months

I like this attractive design and the feel of it in my hand. I like the finish and it has maintained that finish for months. This flatware feels substantial in my hand. It feels good and heavy and strong. It is clear that Oneida has been in the industry for so long and has experience at getting this right. It is a great quality product and has been made using great quality materials. I would order this set again because this is a really good price for this set. This flatware is my dinner flatware set everyday and I just love it.

Nice Cutlery
I love it when I order something and it turns out to be so much better than I expected. That’s the case here. This is a really silverware set. I say that because it’s well made, with quality materials, and you can’t beat the full set for the price. Great finish, sturdy, and dishwasher safe. I expect it to last a long time, and it’s a really good value for the price. Five stars.

Classic, nicely balanced
The flatware set of 4 place settings comes individually wrapped and banded then wrapped together in bubble wrap and fitted into a snug box. Then that box is put in another one. That isn’t including the shipping box. The flatware arrived in good condition with a warranty and care instruction pamphlet in the box. The care said that the flatware was dishwasher safe but recommended staying away from harsh detergents to avoid rust. It also recommended not using the dry cycle and hand drying for the same reason. I ordered this product because I liked the simple and classic design and because I have been using Oneida products for years and like the brand. Oneida is a Lenox brand and most of the products I have gotten from them have stood the test of time. This set seems to be carried at Macy’s, Target, Wayfair, Kohl’s, and JCPenny. Amazon’s price is competitive. The flatware is nicely balanced, not so heavy it falls off a plate or is uncomfortable in the hand, but heavy enough to feel substantial. I think this is a nice style for casual everyday use and the price point reflects that. It should fit with a modern, coastal, farmhouse, or transitional aesthetic. The only complaint I have is that you can not get the pieces in singles or even single place settings, nor can you get serving pieces even on the Oneida website.
