Great looking set with QC issue
I just received this set a few weeks ago. The flatware itself is gorgeous and has a nice weight to it, making it feel balanced. However, when eating dinner tonight, I noticed a shard of metal came loose after it cut my finger.Upon inspection, it appears the other side of this fork may end up having the same issue. I checked the other forks, which appear to be fine. After I hear back from customer support about a replacement, I’ll come back to update my rating and review.

Decent quality set
I bought this to supplement my Julliard set from the early 1990âs for larger dinner parties. It is close although slightly different in the design, but Iâm the only one likely to notice. I also can tell this set, especially the forks, is much lighter than the original design.

Iâve had Julliard for years and was glad to find replacements. It fits my hand perfectly and has a good weight. This time I got extras and hid them in the cupboard! Spoons seem to move out from our house.

I think this is an example of overthinking the basics. The individual pieces feel to be made with quality metal, but these are not solid pieces. The butterknife felt like there was a defect in the weld holding the blade to the handle. This is not what you expect out of an expensive set of flatware. Oneida is a good brand, but the Juilliard set is not up to the standard they’ve set for themselves. Look for a set of flatware that is made of a solid piece.
