Great product EXCEPT for rubber banding
Wanted to replace unhealthy plastic covers with glass covers. Glass covers are almost impossible to find, so this is one of two options available. Compared to the other option that I also bought, this cover is lighter in weight and does a nice job of covering different sized plates.The con: the big heavy rubber that is around the bottom of the glass. Iâm not sure of the purpose for the rubber but I have removed it because it is a magnet for bacteria. Once used, liquid gets trapped in the crevices and is hard to get dry. Once I removed the big rubber band, the cover still worked great. I suggest removing the rubber.If the seller wants rubber, make it a thin band that is sealed to avoid liquid and bacteria build up.

I like that itâs glass and Iâm not using plastic in the microwave, but be warnedâ¦the glass gets VERY hot
