Great for hospital workers!
I bought this portable NutriBullet for healthy meals on the go while working at the hospital, so I can easily store it in my locker. I already own the regular-sized NutriBullet, which has been fantastic and durable, so I thought I’d give the portable version a try. I tested it out at home before bringing it to work—thankfully, because I found that it doesn’t blend fresh fruit as well as I hoped. I followed the instructions and chopped my four small strawberries into tiny pieces, but it still left chunks, and even struggled with blending a single ice cube.However, it works great with liquids and protein powders. I typically use almond milk or reduced-fat milk with “Just Ingredients” protein powder as well as the Fit PB powder. All in all, I think it’s still a solid purchase. It’ll be super convenient for making healthy shakes at work and is easy to use in the break room. I also love how much quieter it is than I expected and how simple it is to clean. Definitely a handy addition to my daily routine!

Cannot handle ice too well. Simple shakes for blending powders or soft fruits. Struggles with ice

This has been used more than once daily for a month with no complaints
Before this, we had a nutribullet for around 5 or so years that served all of our, albeit minimal, blending needs. We used it mostly for smoothies. Then my husband started doing protein shakes and the blender became a daily use item at minimum and we thought it was messing up, but later I discovered my husband was just over filling it. Anywho, that started us on a journey for a new blender and it has worked out great. We started with a generic personal portable blender that was fine, but when we got this one we were able to see just how much nicer it was.Construction: the main cup part is solid, sturdy, satisfying acrylic type plastic. It holds up well in the dishwasher and it’s incredibly easy to clean by hand as well.Size: this is the perfect size for my husband to make himself morning and evening protein shakes.Blending: my husband uses this to grind up oatmeal into powder and for shakes an smoothies. The texture is always just right, although it takes a sec (as with most blenders, people just don’t run them long enough)Speed and sound: you can use this in the next room at 4 am and not wake me up. Do with that what you will, but every other blender we’ve used has been three times as loud as this one. It’s the quietest one we’ve ever had. But you know, it’s still a blenderAdvice: we find it’s best to go ahead and pour this into a travel cup and immediately wash the whole thing as soon as you use it every time. This keeps it clean and available to use at all times.trust me, protein shakes should never be left to sit in a truly air tight container, as this can be, for any amount of time. Dude, just pour it into a cup you have multiples of, and immediately disassemble and wash the parts. It is super easy if you do it immediately. Then it’s important that you don’t reassemble them, you need to let them dry fully.so, every time we use this pretty much, we are assembling it from the pieces we’ve washed and placed in the dish drainer. Otherwise, you’re writing checks that future you won’t cash.It’s held up really well, it’s only needed charged a handful of times (maybe 3) after at minimum two daily uses. It’s easy to use.Be careful about:Be sure to clean up under the blades sometimes, don’t put your rubbery gasket parts in the dishwasher, and watch out bc the little black rubbery feet that stick in the bottom will fall out sometimes and don’t look like much so can be thrown out. I check for them every time I wash it to be sure, and I’m extra careful not to get water up into the charging port that you can cover.If you take good care of this it seems to stay good as new overtime, even with constant use.
