It does what electric kettle supposed to do in an elegant and pleasing way. The previous coffee pots I had dribbled water when pouring. Since we use the pot mainly for pour over coffee or tea, this is a step improvement. It is quiet and works well. Didn’t know I needed this
I was watching a YouTube channel about cooking. Great channel, Italian cook and American husband showing how we don’t cook authentic Italian food here. Well, duh. We’re called a melting pot. The recipes are easy to follow. They don’t endorse products but they listed products they (she) uses.To make a long story short (too late) this is one of the products. It’s perfect for me. It boils water in less than a minute, although I don’t fill the pot full. It’s compact. It does it’s one job perfectly. No need for whistle, the water’s hot before you leave the kitchen. It is small but perfect for me.

Good with one annoying flaw
I got this kettle to replace a stovetop kettle because my wife wanted electric.Pros: it does look sleek, the thermometer on the top is nice I suppose, ant max capacity it heats enough water for two large mugs of tea, and it generally does its job of heating water.Cons: it takes just about as long as a stovetop kettle would (~6 minutes to full boil at max fill), which in my opinion defeats the purpose of electric. But the main annoyance I have is that due to the flat interior of the lid condensation gathers on it and every time I take the lid off to add water, the condensation drips all over my counter/floor. Because of the gooseneck you canât fill through the spout, so thereâs no way around taking the lid off.

Leaking kettle
Loved the copper kettle it heats quickly and looks great, but started noticing leaks at base in less than one month. Company processed return quickly. I did order another in hopes that it was just a defective product. Will update later. Hoping for no leak.
