Cool little machine, hot dogs just like the gas station!
Everyone loves rolled hot dogs from the gas stations and convenience stores right? This little number does the trick at home so that you can get the same experience! Itâs surprisingly well built, and although not large it has enough capacity for 2-4 people depending on your appetite. The bun warming compartment is a nice feature, just make sure to wrap them in foil to keep them nice and soft. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get that shimmering slightly brownish tint on the hot dogs that are the staple of the gas station rollers. Very pleased with my purchase, and the neon retro colors are cool as well. Clean up is a breeze, just run a damp cloth over the surface of the rollers. Whatâs not to like?

This works great for dorm rooms, small spaces, break rooms. It’s a bit challenging to clean, I recommend to clean while it’s warm. Great value and easy to use. Turn it on and it starts cooking.

It is small but mighty! Itâs a little bigger than a double toaster and you can only make 4 bun length at a time or you can do 6 regular size hot dogs at a time if you cut a little of the tips off so they rotate properly. It is perfect for small counter tops. We clean it and just store it in its original box when not using. I love the taste. The cleaning is easy. I donât imagine it will last for a super long time but for the cost itâs totally worth it, especially if you eat hot dogs every week or twice a week!

Fun, works well, but not very rigid
We picked this up for a Christmas present for someone that loves the gas station hot dogs. He was super excited! Set up was simple and it’s quite and nice to look at. Very nostalgic.However, you can tell it’s not built very sturdy, so don’t mistreat it – make the kids be gentle with it. If you take care of it, it should last years – however I wish it was built solid so I didn’t have to be so careful. I’d love to shove it into a cabinet for storage but didn’t dare.

Rollers do not turn and does not fit a package of hot dogs
I have tried three different style and brands of hotdogs including Oscar Myers original size hot dogs. None of them would fit 8 hot dogs. The rollers did not roll with no hot dogs on there. The direction says put hot dogs on before turning on. I tried that. None of the hot dogs rolled. One of them tried to but it did not roll.It only gives you 1 drip/crumb pan but you can use it under hot dogs or under buns to catch crumbs. This item needs two drip/crumb pans.I did not think of clean up until I had. Because I cannot even get the rollers to manually turn or turn without hotdogs, clean up is a pain. The juice stops to bottom of the roller.It got two starts because it is pretty and compact for small kitchen or easy storage.I am just very disappointed because rolled hot dogs is how I like my dogs. I wanted something I could set and not manually turn the dogs. I wanted something quick and easy as I am disabled and canât stand for long periods of a time.The last hot dogs I tried are Nathan Jumbo dogs so you can picture the size.Since Intried to use it, I now canât return it. â¹ï¸ðHad others not posted with their dogs turning, I prolly would not of waisted me money.Directions say to prevent buns from dry outing out, wrap buns in foil or paper towel. Again a deception from the photo.inwould be hesitant to put paper towel in there in fear it will catch fire.

Doesn’t fit 2 standard hot dogs in PEI, Canada. How long are your standard hot dogs?Ours are 5 inches, your design limits the standard length to 4 and 5/8ths on an inch, whichwill not fit 2 dogs on the rollers, which is also smaller than the standard 6″ hot dog.This will only cook 4 dogs at a time.

When I started warming up the machine, first of all the lid melted due to the heat of the rollers. Then the bun warmers door fell off. As the rollers started heating up the sausages they got stuck to the rollers and started burning! I recommend no one to buy please!

Great gift to keep kids and their friends busy and full.Not sure why it is called extra large as you can barely fit regular hot dogs in it. The photo must be using breakfast sausages to show side by side placement. At best it could fit 1 1/2 hotdogs across or a few jumbo dogs.Either way, cute gift.
