using this for cooking so that it doesnt scratch the pans i have but it definitely gets tiring the longer you hold it. the grip is good and it is relatively easy to clean

Very pleased. Works just like it should.
I like this tong because it is large, doesn’t open too wide (like those stainless steel tongs) and It won’t scratch wood bowls like the stainless tongs. I find that gripping it in the center works best, its very springy, and the “teeth” on the edges helps grab sliced vegies easily (like tomato and zucchini). Even works well for flipping foods in a frying pan or serving spaghetti right out of the pot.I do wish it wasn’t lacquered, as I prefer bamboo utensils to be natural so they can be oiled. But I’m sure the finish will eventually come off with use and washing.Some reviews said it snapped right away, but I have found it shows no cracking or splintering at the closed end. Been using this almost daily for a month and I’m glad I got it.

Yep that’s me using these tongs to pick up a 1mm thin fruit shell, a steel milk frother cup, and a half full glass bottle of maple syrup.I think that answers questions of whether these are dextrous or robust enough?the only weakness is that they do not open very far, but that is to be expected.

Soon came apart while hand washing
I used these tongs for flipping food in a skillet, and I hand washed this utensil whenever used. However, after only a few uses, the legs came apart while I washed, as if the adhesive (or whatever held the two pieces together) just dissolved. They lasted only about six weeks.
