Beautiful cake pan
This by far exceeds my wants. It works so nicely and cake slid right out. Worth every penny. Pan is very heavy duty and makes the perfect cakes! A must buy!

Beautiful!
This is such a beautiful pan, I couldnât wait to bake in it. It made a gorgeous quick bread. It looked just like Nordic Wareâs photos. This is a small pan, about ¾ the size of my other loaf pans. It is hard to measure, but the inside is less than 8 inches long. The cake came out perfectly. Before I filled it, I used a silicone brush to apply a good coat of very soft butter in all the openings. Then I turned the pan around and did it again, because Iâve found that if I just do it looking at one angle, I donât see all the places I missed. Then I floured it. I also tapped the pan several times to get the batter all the way to the bottom. After I baked it, there was not a speck of cake left in the pan, not even in the smallest places.Cleanup was a breeze. I used a large paper towel that I got very wet and soapy and I just placed in the bottom for a minute or two, then wiped and rinsed. I examined it under good light and it was perfectly clean. It is typical Nordic Ware good quality. I love their pans. Itâs sturdy and well made. The pan came in a flimsy plastic bag. There was a recipe included. It is for a Rose Loaf Cake, flavored, as the name suggest, with rose water. Rose water is not my favorite flavor. Iâve traveled a lot in the Middle East, where it is popular, and I have to say it tastes like soap to me, so I wonât be making that. It is helpful, though, to look at the amounts of flour and eggs and such, so as to compare with recipes that will work well in this pan.

Cake popped right out with zero stick only using coconut oil to coat
I have very little experience baking and am now learning to bake gluten-free out of necessity. I’ve never used a pan like this before but couldn’t resist trying because of the gorgeous floral pattern. I used a marbled almond flour/buckwheat flour cake batter with cocoa powder in it, so it was very dark and the floral pattern was very hard to see even though it was *perfectly* intact. I see now that all the great pictures are with lighter cake batter, so I’ll try that next time. I’m not disappointed because the cake came out out of the pan like it was nothing. I just let it cool and turned it upside down and out it came. And I have no skills!!!!! This is very cool! I need to get quite a few walks in before I bake another cake, but will be looking for a recipe with lighter colored flours for next time! Pans like this are just bringing a lot of happy to this learning process!

Nice!

Heavy duty but a little shallow
Itâs my fault for not looking closer at the size but this is about 2 inches shorter than my normal loaf pans. That being said, it is well made and does what is intended.

GREAT PAN, CUTE, EASY TO CLEAN!!
I love this pan. I was concerned that the design wouldnât show up or it would be hard for the cake to cleanly release⦠no problem!!! I wish I had taken a picture of the pan after turning the cake out. There was no cake residue and the cake slipped out perfectly!! WOW!! Iâm impressed. I used half of a homemade pound cake recipe. For easy release, I use homemade cake goop (a mixture I make ahead and store⦠equal parts shortening, vegetable oil, and all purpose flour, applied using a pasty brush). The cake baked evenly and as you can see, the designs came out beautifully. The quality of the pan is outstanding and a nice weight. I highly recommend this product.

I am having so much fun with this beautiful and unique pan!
I absolutely love the design of this loaf pan and how beautiful my breads look when they come out of the pan. Talk about an amazing presentation. I use a pastry brush to get melted butter into all of the nooks in the flower pattern and then coat with flour and nothing has stuck to this pan so far. I would not recommend non-stick cooking spray as it is very difficult to clean out of any pan after cooking. This pan makes loaves that are worthy of gifting to all of your family and friends. I am collecting more patterns and more shapes of pans from Nordic Ware as they are my new obsession. They also look great displayed on my kitchen baking rack. This pan is very heavy and sturdy so, even though I have only used it a handful of time, it will last a very long time.

I made a beautiful lemon-thyme loaf with this pan. Gorgeous results. Love the pan.I used my own cake release product I made myself. This is the most awesome tip I can share with bakers using a beautiful Nordic Ware pan. This cake release wonât gum up your pan, it’s inexpensive to make, it stores indefinitely in your fridge and above all, it is EFFECTIVE !!!RECIPE for DIY CAKE RELEASE: “CAKE GOOP” (I think we need a better name for it – ha)3 INGREDIENTS ONLY (please weigh the ingredients to make sure proportions are correct and release is effective)-100 g lard/shortening, at room temp-70 g flour-105 g veg oilUsing an eggbeater, whip up ingredients to make a paste. YIELD: about 1.5 cups.STORE CAKE GOOPSpoon into a mason jar and keep in fridge to use whenever you need to âgrease and flourâ any baking pan/tin. It doesnât harden like butter; rather, it remains paste-like. It stores indefinitely, if kept in fridge (to prevent any eventual rancidity of oil after 6 mos).GREASE & FLOUR PANDab the tip of a silicone pastry brush into the jar of cake goop paste, and apply to your pan surface working/stippling it into every corner or nook and cranny of the most elaborate or intricately detailed pans you use. No additional flouring is needed after this because the paste already contains the flour!RESULTS? AMAZING.This goop is so cool that I have made extra to gift to my baker friends. Attach a recipe/care label and a silicone brush for lucky friends. And, for the special ones, attach this to a beautiful Nordic Ware pan gift 🙂
