Sturdy pan at a reasonable price
We bought a pair of these pans which we then protected with a pair of Amazon-brand silcon baking mats (highly recommended; they fit the Nordicware pans perfectly). Done this way, you won’t be burning on or discoloring your nice pans, and you will make them SUPER easy to clean. These are a nice weight–not commercial, but very good for home use–and well crafted. Even without the mats, these are great pans and if you know and understand the properties of aluminum, then you will know to treat them with care and clean them with products rated for aluminum. Caution: The internal wire/rod under the rim is steel and holds heat much longer than the aluminum, so be careful moving these around after the rest of the pan is cool to the touch.

I am so glad I bought these pans…..not only for the 3 sizes but they are extremely durable, easy to clean and do a great job baking in the oven. I use them frequently for roasted vegetables, cookies and even the communion bread I make for church. Excellent price, excellent value, excellent pans!

Fantastic Pans
I was on a low cholesterol diet for a while which meant finding many new recipes. Most of these were sheet pan recipes and my sheet pans at the time were very old stainless steel ones that routinely warped when hot.
I found these pans and they’re wonderful. One of them has stained slightly from a lot of use, but they don’t do that sudden SPROING twist when heated, they’re a bit larger and deeper than my old pans so they hold food better, and they clean up easily. I mean, I’d rather be able to toss pans in the dishwasher especially as my sink is too small, but even the one dish I made that burned food onto the pan didn’t ruin it (just gave it the aforementioned staining, which over time is disappearing). Maybe a bit of soaking, then dobie sponge work to clean up, and it’s squeaky clean and ready for the next time.

I paid $31.43 with the 10% coupon. That’s nearly double what you’d pay for a cheap set of non-stick pans at a big box store. But I wanted high quality pans that would last, and I wanted to avoid “non-stick” pans with chemical coatings that will deteriorate and leech into the food over time. As soon as I saw that the Nordic Ware Baker’s Delight 3 Piece Set was Made in USA, I was sold.
The pans are thick, heavier than you might expect from aluminum, and very high quality. I immediately washed them and put them to use. Right away I noticed they cooked evenly, and clean up easily. My rusty old “non-stick” pans from years ago can finally go into the recycle bin.

I have been on a quest for a couple of years for the best baking sheets to use in high temperature ovens for baking french fries for example. I think my search is finally over. I saw these advertised in the New York Times and checked them out. Amazon customer reviews backed up what the Times column said: these are solid and do not warp at high temperatures (450 – 500F) These things are the cadillacs of baking sheets: heavy, stongly built, even heat distribution. Cleaning takes some energy but very little for a non non-stick pan. They look like they might outlast me! Price? You get what you pay for.
Update May 8, 2024: I used this pan again last night to bake french fries in the oven at 425F on parchment paper covering. Perfect result! No warping. No sticking. Even heat distribution across the sheet. Love this cookie sheet.
