Convenient & space saving
The Ninja Foodie toaster allows for large bread items to be toasted in the toasting slot, i.e. longer french bread slices, a whole bagel sliced in half side by side, and to reheat several whole biscuits at once, for some examples. And a decent amount can be cooked in the tray if you lay it flat for the cooking function. I cooked 6 frozen biscuits at one time to what I would say was total perfection (light brown on the outside and soft inside). You could also fit one pizza slice, or 2 pieces of bread side by side in the cooking tray. So I think itâs a very handy toaster and it definitely takes up less space than a cooking style toaster. Itâs longer than a standard slice toaster, so check the measurements before buying. But Iâm a big fan overall!

Good quality, functions, use of space
At first I was skeptical of the concept, but then I took a closer look and saw that it has high quality quartz heating elements, good electronic control functions, and good reviews. Now that I’ve used it for awhile, I’m more impressed than I thought I’d be. Ninja did a good job on the design concept (vertical toasting and horizontal broiling, baking, etc., saving space in my small apartment when in vertical mode) and with quality implementation of it. Works great as a normal vertical toaster for bagels or large sourdough slices and as a cheese sandwich maker or pizza slice warmer when in horizontal mode. And it’s fast â so fast, that I usually turn down the heat settings so it’ll toast or bake more slowly than it’s capable of.

Awesome toaster, minus the beeping
We just moved and have a small kitchen. We gave away our regular toaster oven and air fryer when we moved. I was looking for something compact that could do both jobs, with regular toasting being the priority. This toaster serves the purpose perfectly. It toasts super fast — I think because it uses quartz elements instead of traditional resistive heating elements. It can toast 2 normal size pieces of bread like a regular toaster; however, because of the long shape it can also toaster larger slices like you would get out of an artisan bread boule. The baking function also works great. Because of the small space and its ability to get super hot, it’s really good at roasting, which is basically what we used our air fryer for. We roasted some tofu the other day, and it turned out perfectly. The compartment is a little small, but it’s fine for just my partner and I. You can also cook things in batches if you aren’t short on time.My main issue is with the beeping it does. It beeps for everything. Start toasting: beep; stop toasting: beep; take out the tray: beep; put the tray back in: beep. You get the idea. I wish I could disable that (if I knew I could safely take it apart and remove the speaker, I would). Aside from that, it’s great!

This is the best toaster we’ve seen. Only 2 slices, but there’s much to love:- 6 elements- quartz elements, not wire over paper like others- elements are close to bread, unlike “toaster ovens” or “air fryer combos”. We think this is highly efficient, and also causes bread to be crispier on the surface and fresher inside. We love this, never seen before in a toaster – keeps bread from drying as it toasts.- very compact, about 1.5x size of cheap toaster- can flip, though we don’t use this feature- upright, taking not much more space than a cheap toaster (longer)- beeps when done, an unexpectedly useful feature- controls are better than any we’ve seen- display is helpfulOur congratulations to Shark / Ninja. Toasts unevenly
Toasts unevenly. When putting two slices of bread in, one will be darker than the other. Toast is darker at the top than the bottom with sometimes the bottom is still white. Edges of the bread are much darker at the top than the bottom. The broiler works well with two small slices side by side. The crumb tray doesnât come all the way out which is annoying and makes cleaning it difficult. I donât know if two full size bread slices will fit side by side. Itâs larger overall than a regular two slice toaster but I like the multi function features. I like that it will fit in the cabinet so I donât have to leave it on the counter full time. Iâm keeping it and will live with the few imperfections.

This flip toaster is great! I use it so much. Takes less space on the counter because of its flip up design. Genius! It toasts bread to perfection and has so many options. It works great as a toaster oven as well. Used to grill cheese on toast and even made little cupcake eggies with different ingredients. Best toaster/ oven purchase.I read complaints about the crumb tray not being easy to clean because itâs not removable. The reason for that is because itâs an oven also and can heat up to high temperatures, the tray acts as the back wall. If someone were to forget to put it back in it could potentially cause a fire on your back wall or damage. I just use a cloth and a mini vac to clean up the crumbs. No big deal. Also some people say the removable oven tray handle is loose. You have to really tighten it. It feels like youâre breaking it but youâre not. Definitely recommend this toaster.
