    This was money well spent!
This grill is outstanding. We had a Hamilton Beach that wasn’t heating properly anymore after 4 years of use so we bought this after lots of research & reading reviews. We were going to get the 6 in 1 but we like to have our grill separate from the Air Fryer, & this got better reviews than that product.
We also had to pick between this model, & the cheaper model that didn’t come with a griddle & im really happy we decided to get this because the griddle is amazing. Normally, in our biggest frying pan I can only get 5 pieces of bacon which I constantly have to rotate in order to make sure it cooks evenly. But on this? I can easily fit 8 pieces of bacon that all cook together at the same time because the heat distribution on this grill is awesome.
With our last grill there would be grease spots under the grill, that would some how miss the trap, but not with this, and it gets hotter than the other one, and I think it’s hotter than the dial is set at 350° to 375°? It cooks at what seems like 400° so I found myself turning it down more than the instructions suggested.
It’s really easy to use, and clean. It’s also very sleek & modern looking on the counter.
-The only two complaints we would have are, it doesn’t have a light to indicate when it reaches its cooking temp, and it didn’t come with a complimentary Ninja Throwing Star. I was really looking forward to that.
I hope you love this as much as we do! (If you decide to get it!)

    Grilling inside!
I was skeptical when I bought it but now after grilling burgers and bacon on it. It’s very easy to use and clean even for the biggest mess simply remove the plate and rinse it. It’s light weight for its size and versatile for its size. I feel that it was built with quality and works well especially for indoor grilling or cooking!

    Great product
Make breakfast, lunch and dinner on this well built indoor griddle and grill. Cooks nearly perfectly for all kinds of food from pancakes to streak. Very easy cleanup due to a fantastic nonstick surface on both the grill and griddle. Food never tasted better. This appliance nearly replaces our full sized oven. Great value for what it does.

Low profile and easy to clean
I’m comparing this grill against the Hamilton Beach Searing Grill https://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-25361-Removable-Stainless/dp/B00KLVY3TW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=10I0LLUIICUYZ&keywords=hamilton+beach+grill&qid=1700351862&sprefix=hamilton+beach+grill%2Caps%2C102&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1.
I had the HB for 3 years, but the dial recently broke and I couldn’t control the temp anymore. I loved the HB and planned on buying the same one again, but I am also a big Ninja fan, and came across this grill, so I thought I’d try it out.
    HB: About $70
    Ninja: About $120
HB: low profile, which I loved
Ninja: extremely low profile, which is even better
    HB: removable, windowed, covered lid
    Ninja: removable, vented lid
HB: temperature dial goes up to 450F, light indicates when temperature is reached
Ninja: temperature dial up to 500F, light indicates power only
HB: open grates, allowing grease to drain into pan below, which I lined with aluminum foil to easily dispose
Ninja: closed “grate”, most of the grease drains to a ditch at the front of the grill.
HB: I put the lid and the grate into the dishwasher and it held up great. The grate was tougher to clean and did require a soft brush to scrub stuck, cooked-on food. The grease pan is large, removes, and is very easy to clean. I stuck in the dishwasher. Grease splatters on the insides walls of the frame and needs to be cleaned by hand. It’s hard to get it all.
Ninja: lid has lots of little vent holes. It seemed to clean by hand ok, but is also dishwasher safe, which is good. Grate has a very smooth surface, making it easy to wipe down. I don’t think you are supposed to put it in the dishwasher to protect the nonstick, but I probably will at some point. It doesn’t look like it will easily flake. The grate and the grease catcher are all one piece. The benefit to this is that all the splatters are contained, keeping the base pretty unscathed from splatters
    HB: one grill plate
Ninja: the GR101 model includes a second interchangeable griddle plate.
The grate size is about the same for both grills, but I feel like the heating elements cover more surface area on the Ninja. The heating element is enclosed on the bottom of the grate on the HB, and if I recall circles the periphery. The Ninja has heat elements that completely covers the bottom and exposes more of the grill to heat.
Both easily fit 4 large hamburgers on the grill.
I’m on the fence about the Ninja lid. That’s going to take time to determine if a vented lid is problematic, or works as well as a fully covered lid.
    Ninja Pros:
~i like that it has both a griddle and a grill plate. For me that is a space saver.
~The Ninja potentially gets hotter for quicker sear.
~The Ninja cleans up more completely
~The very low profile. I like to be able to put it away easily, and I like that it doesn’t take up all the counter space when I’m cooking
~cooks food really well and has great grill marks
    ~solid and well made
    HP pros
~the open grate really does a better job of draining the grease off your food (i.e. hamburgers)
    ~less expensive
~full lid coverage with viewing window
    ~easy to handle and clean
    Ninja cons
~honestly, I’m really surprised Ninja didn’t include the feature for the indicator light to cycle on and off when the grate temperature is reached. The instructions are to heat for 7 minutes, and, i guess assume it’s hot enough. I think this was a poor design decision. It’s not a huge deal to add, but a really beneficial feature to have. It’s what clued me in that my HB was broken.
~I’m on the fence about the closed grate. It definitely makes cleaning easier and more thorough, but I do think I prefer the grease to drain. Maybe after I’ve used it for more than just hamburger, I’ll adjust my opinion. I’m thinking about grilling asparagus, which would benefit from not having all the butter or oil drain off. Might be easier to grill salmon too. Hot dogs wouldn’t matter. I don’t believe it would matter for grilled chicken or a filet. I’ll have to try that too.
All in all, I’m really happy with the Ninja, and would recommend it to anyone. It’s well made and does what I want it to do, and then some. It stores easily and cleans easily. It cooks great. No major complaints, except for the light.
I’m looking forward to making more meals and also trying out the griddle. And I would definitely recommend.

    Not “Smokeless,” but “Less Smoke.”
I would not call this grill “smokeless,” but it does reduce the smoke significantly. The spatter guard is very helpful but you still get a small amount of spatter around the unit. I love the fact that it comes with a griddle. Overall this a great addition to my office kitchen.
My only real complaint has to do with cleaning. I really like the fact that the cooking surfaces can be removed for cleaning. The issue, however it the grease trays. It has grease trays (which is a good thing), but they are attached to the cooking plates. It’s hard to drain the grease when they are hot because there are no handles on the cooking plates. You have to wait to drain the grease until they are cool enough that you don’t burn yourself, but not too much or the grease solidifies and won’t pour. They either need some sort of handles on the cooking plates (like the Foodi) or a detached grease catch that can be drained without having to handle the hot cooking plates.

    GREAT LITTLE APPLIANCE
Love, love, love this little appliance. This griddle/grill replaced my large patio Duncane gas grill and I couldn’t be happier. Both the griddle and grill heat up evenly and cook perfectly. I use it every week; it’s easy to use, cooks beautifully and cleans up in a snap. It’s the pefect size for a 2-person household but easily accommodates 6 full size hamburgers. Highly recommend; you won’t be disappointed.

Easy to clean, food turns out great!
I like that it heats up quickly and evenly. So far, I’ve made bacon, sausage and eggs, hamburgers, and Eckrige sausage links on it. The grease overflow got a little full, but I used a syringe to suck it up and drain it into a grease container. It cleans easily. The top cover lifts off so you can clean it also. So far I’m giving this gadget 5*.

Wow, Ninja did it again. Beautiful, high heat grill with two plates. One if desire grill marks on your steak but also a flat plate for pancakes etc. or best of all, for indoor smash burgers! Works beautifully – crisps the patties as desired. Love this thing, live in a small open plan setting yet no problem with smoke on high heat and easy to clean. Do not regret this purchase and would purchase again. Large enough for a steak and a couple fruit/veg shish kobo’s – could be a larger size available for larger family maybe but I’m happy.

Product good but didn’t supply a plug so had to order an adaptor which I thought wasn’t great. Arrived on time and no other problems

i purchased this to see if we could eliminate barbecuing outside in the winter. It works great. There is a small amount of smoke but nothing serious. Of course it doesn’t have the barbecue taste but it beats freezing yourself standing by the barbecue in the snow.
