Didn’t Think I Would Have Much to Say about Measuring Spoons & Cups, but I was Wrong
I ordered these for my wife because hers were pretty beat up. She does all the cooking so helped me with this review. I pulled out all her measuring spoons and cups to compare with Nextop. I was surprised with the differences we noticed.She had 3 sets of measuring cups and 2 sets of measuring spoons.This is what we noticed about the measuring cups:1. The Nextop handles are longer, more ergonomic, padded and color-coded. (SEE PICTURE)..2. The older sets of cups had a 2/3rd cup which my wife said she never uses.3. Nextop has a 1/8th cup which the older sets do not. My wife said she can use this. In the past, she has been filling up the ¼ cup halfway.4. Nextop are made of stainless steel which is more corrosion resistant and stronger than other materials.5. I doubt the handles on the Nextop are going to bend (SEE PICTURE). Here are the thickness of the handles measured with a digital caliper:â¾ Nextop â 1.5 mmâ¾ Other, set #1 â 1.0 mmâ¾ Other, set #2 â 0.7-0.8 mmThis is what we noticed about the measuring spoons:1. The Nextop handles are longer, more ergonomic, padded and color-coded (SEE PICTURE).2. Her two older sets of measuring spoons were a total of four spoons. Nextop has a total of six spoons.3. These are nice, quality, non-magnetic (300 series) stainless steel imperial measuring cups and spoons. Both the cups and the spoons have the imperial quantity of their capacity engraved on their handles (e.g. 1 Cup, 1/2 Cup, 1/4 Cup) but they also have the equivalent in metric engraved below the imperial. Very handy – nice touch. All of them have colored silicon grips on the handles – neither set repeats the same color – So you can differentiate them by color. Unfortunately, the half cup and the third cup, which are often hard to differentiate by size, are a pretty close color match; there are also other similar sets. I’m not docking Nextop for that â I’m just sayin’ â Nextop, please rethink handle color selection so it is more useful for the end user. The silicon handles are very nice â they’re comfortable in hand, and don’t feel like they are ever coming off. I’ve run both sets through the dishwasher on the sanitation cyle, and it didn’t phase the handles. complete and well-made measuring set
The Nextop 14-Piece Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons Set with All Stackable Sizes and Leveler for Dry Ingredients is a complete and well-made measuring set. I like silicone handles, which make it easier to grip the measuring cups and spoons. The different colors also make it easier to tell the different sizes apart. The measurements were accurate when I compared them to another set I have. Along with a 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, and 1/4 cup, this set also includes a 1/8 measuring cup; few sets include that size. The spoon set includes the usual 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1/4 teaspoon, and 1/8 teaspoon as well as 1/2 tablespoon, which isn’t as common. The leveler also is handy rather than using the top of a knife to get more precise measurements. The Nextop 14-Piece Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons Set with All Stackable Sizes and Leveler for Dry Ingredients is dishwasher safe and washes up nicely (I put the spoons on the top rack and the cups on the middle rack). I look forward to many years of using this measuring set in my baking.

Nice and sturdy!
This is a great set! Got it for my college student, and it’s all he’ll need forever, as long as he doesn’t lose them! The measuring cups and spoons are all made from sturdy metal. They have silicone (I think) handles, which makes them comfy to handle. The measurements for each cup/spoon are etched into the metal, which is a requirement for me, after previously buying plastic measuring cups and spoons at the dollar store, only to not know what I’m measuring a year later when the markings had all washed off. That’ll never happen with this set! Each of the cups or spoons is held by a ring, but they’re easy to remove if that’s not how you prefer to measure (like me). Also includes a little metal knife looking thing to level off your spoons or cups. The spouts on both sides of the cups are helpful. All in all, great set!

Nests well, nice color, somewhat flimsy handles
This matching set of measuring cups and teaspoons is a nice upgrade from my mismatched set. They all nest together for compact storage. I like the color of the silicone handles, but I suspect their function is to cover and coat the thinner stainless steel handles, which are a bit flimsy in my opinion but they work for their purpose.The cups’ are labeled by etching, which is better than paint which eventually wears off. I do wish that the cup measure had markings for 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 on the inside so that I could just use and wash one cup in a pinch.
