Great gifts!
I gave a set to my three nephews and niece who are in their 30âs and they demonstrated excitement for receiving them. I bought a set for me too.

Thick Glass Baking Pans, One Flaw
I love how thick these glass pans are. Can handle any amount of heat from the oven and I’ve even frozen some dessert in it as well and it didn’t crack. They are small in terms of baking pans, you can serve about 2-3 people from one of these but considering most people would use this for dessert or baking meatloaf it is a perfect size for a few portions. The one thing I do not like are the lids. They fit fine enough, but the crack pretty easily. I’m down to one lid now. I have tupperware with stronger lids than this!

Great alternative to baking w/ Teflon
I wanted to get away from baking with cookware that could release chemical or start rusting over time. I also wanted something that would be stackable. These pans do stack (not fully, but) midway into each other. These pans are a good addition to my kitchen and having a lid to easily store it makes it even more convenient.I havenât thrown them into the over yet, so I canât speak to that yet.

Not Happy With How The Lids Sealâ¦
I ordered these Nestl Glass Storage Dishes and on first look, they seemed fine. But after using them, I noticed that the size of the lids was not right and they did not seal well on one of the long sides. I donât know if the cold refrigerator temperature had caused some shrinkage, or if it was an issue with the material the lids were made out of, or if it was just not sized properly during production. They also promote these as being able to nest inside one another and while they do so, to a degree, they donât nest very good as well. I have used other brands of similar glass dishes with lids and those lids always sealed properly so I am a little disappointed in this product and definitely would NOT purchase these again.

Excellent glass quality for baking or food storage
These tapered pans boast impressively thick glass, about ¼”. They offer more utility than metal pans. We can use these for baking, serving, or food storage. When baking, the glass provides more convenience. It’s super easy to check the color of the sides and bottom of the loaf. When removing bread from the pan, we can use a knife without worrying about scratching a non-stick coating. My spouse baked a loaf at 350°, which came out fantastic. Although the manufacturer rates them up to 550°, we’re not planning to use them for anything over 425°, just to preserve them. One limitation we discovered relates to the lids. They don’t seal perfectly and are not airtight. My spouse tested one by filling the pan with a cup of water and, on inverting it, observed it leaking slowly. It’s not porous, however, and will likely function for all but the most extreme uses. I also recommend not placing the lid in a dishwasher; the plastic is not as stable as the glass and will likely bend or shrink. It’s described as borosilicate glass. Like Pyrex, this type adjusts to temperature changes and can be safely used in the freezer. However, we’ve been reluctant to test it there. We want to keep these pieces intact and undamaged for as long as possible.I think grabbing a pack of three at the current $25 list price is a no-brainer. They have so many uses in a kitchen that it’s hard to imagine them collecting dust for long.
