I was really looking forward to this cooking baked potatos faster. My first attempt last night though was disappointing. I cooked two medium size potatos at the recommended length of time based on the chart on the bag. They came out hard in the middle and barely cooked. I put them in again, for the same length of time (basically now doubling the recommended cook time), and they came out better, but not completely soft and well-cooked like I prefer my baked potatoes. Still slightly hard in the centers. The time it took to microwave to just basic done-ness was no faster than had I not used the bag. (8 minutes in the bag, recommended 5-8 minutes without a bag). I don’t understand what the benefit of the bags is at this point.
