Amazing piece of art that also happens to cut bread perfectly
Had a $20 break knife that was fine until it wasn’t. Dull, a lot of effort, crumbs everywhere. Why buy another disposable knife. I bought a Wusthof, about $60. It was OK. I returned it and upgraded to the Wusthof Ikon Double Serrated. Meh. Better, but a very odd sense of balance – and not special in any way. Bought this knife. Now we are talking. My third Miyabi. Beautiful knife, like a katana. Beautifully balanced, perfect handle. Wow!! Is it sharp. A totally different experience compared with the Ikon Double Serrated. Effortless through a country bread with a tough crust. Totally effortless. Miyabi wins again, by a mile. Miyabi knives are in a different class. Incredibly good bargain currently, a knife you will enjoy every time you pick it up. Hand crafted, will last a lifetime. Don’t hesitate. It is worth it.

Beautiful knife
I am a big fan of Miyabi knives. The Miyabi chef knife has been my favorite one for many years. Miyabi’s bread knife is also a beautiful and highly functional product that I highly recommend to anyone. Although it is harder to sharpen the serrated edges, you will be able to find a local sharpener to take a good care of them.
