I love my new bread knife.
I love my new bread knife. Gave old one away – it was a fine knife – to my step-daughter who needed one. Bought this one as the replacement. Very, very happy with it. Very well made, has nice solid feel to it and I love the offset. It makes cutting bread much easier. Also is perfect for slicing tomatoes. Haven’t tried it on other cuttables, but I have every confidence in its ability to cut anything (food) with easily managed precision. Plan to try it on the turkey come next Thanksgiving. Have been using an electric slicer for over 40 years, so it will be an interesting test. I look forward to not having to clean two blades, and wrestling with the electric cord. Finally, – price was very reasonable, and best of all, it fits perfectly into the old slot in my knife block.

Impressive bread knife
Purchased in December 2010, over 11 years ago.Knife still feels sharp. We use it for cutting bread, and the occasional block of parmesan.I was actually quite surprised realizing we’ve been using it for that long, without sharpening, and with no noticeable decrease in performance. Would definitely buy again. Btw we paid $20 for it in 2010, so the inflation didn’t affect this one.

I recommend it, sort of
This is a very good bread knife and I like it very much, but mostly because it is being sold at a very deep discount to its normal retail price. It is offset, forged, full tang, with 3 rivets and feels nice in my hand: this type of knife can get very expensive. It is just as good as others of its ilk, no better and no worse.I learned a long time ago that a good bread knife depends entirely on how the teeth of the blade are designed. It does not matter if it is cheap, expensive, forged, stamped, or made in any number of different countries. The teeth of this knife are indeed properly designed.Nevertheless, I cannot truthfully say that it is any better than my personal favorite, which I have used professionally in more than one workplace Montana Knife 9″ Offset Bread Knife with White Poly Handle. So, if you can get the MIU at a similar price point, go for it. Otherwise, I cannot give this knife an enthusiastic rating.

Nice sandwich knife
I make a lot of sandwiches and wanted a reasonably priced sandwich knife. Nice riveted handle is better than the molded style and matches my other knifes in the block. The size is perfect for any size sandwich and works much better than my standard 5 inch serrated blade knife.

good for the price
It’s a pretty knife for sure, and hard to beat for the money. What I see being mentioned in the review is that the blade is a little on the thick side – so it can have the tendency to chew up more delicate items a little bit if you’re not careful. Still, besides that gripe, it’s a great value, nice quality, and very tough. Just make sure you know that it’s what you want.

Itâs just ok.
It looks fine, feels good, and for the price you pay I guess it does itâs job. If your wanting a clean cut on homemade fresh bread this is not the knife for you. I feel like any knife would do the same job as this knife. It Ms not sharp and the serrated portion should be made a little tighter in my opinion. This is not what I call a bread knife.

Worth The Cost
It arrived quickly. It is amazingly sharp and well balanced. The offset handle makes it very easy to cut even fresh bread.

Great for general kitchen knife purposes for those who don’t like honing and sharpening thanks to the serrated blade.
