Does what it is supposed to, but with some issues
First off, you should probably do yourself a favor and get a 3mm hex bit that you can put in a screwdriver to assemble the shelf. It’s really hard to get the leverage to screw in the wood screws with the provided Allen wrench.Instructions for the assembly of the piece are pretty vague, consisting of a series of pictures that appear to have been taken from across the room with a cheap camera. It’s not that easy to see which way the shelves are supposed to sit in relation to the side pieces. Better pictures or a diagram would have helped. Most of the screw holes were drilled about an eighth hole off from where they were supposed to be, so it took some maneuvering to get the screws in. Refer back to the advice about the hex bit….Some of the holes weren’t cut cleanly and had debris that had to be removed before a screw would go in. Overall, the piece could have been better made. Finish was good, but the fit could have had a bit more attention paid to it.I kind of see where they are coming from with the design. You are supposed to drop your cans in the shelf as you purchase them, and they roll from the top shelf and drop onto the bottom shelf. That’s fine if you have, say, six cans of the same thing. But it you have a can of soup, a can of chili, and a can of beans, you can’t see what you have anymore. The middle cans on the bottom shelf are hidden by the upper shelf. As I said, I see where they are coming from, but this might not be the best storage method for you if you have a wide variety of single cans…..Oh, and the 28 oz cans won’t fit through the space in the shelf so you can only store them on the top shelf so you are limited to about three cans..The product does what it’s supposed to do, I guess. It will help organize your pantry, especially if you have multiples of the same type of canned goods. If they can get their quality control issues ironed out, it will be a pretty good solution.

Soft drink cans jump out of track; canned vegetables get stuck
Sadly it just doesnât dispense cans correctly and itâs not useable. I first tried soft drink cans – I removed the first can from the bottom and as the other cans rolled down the 2nd can fell out and a can from the back jumped out of the line as you can see in the video. With cans of beans when I removed the first can – cans 2, 3, and 4 rolled forward but the remaining cans did not roll.I also tried this with just the canned vegetables in the left hand track and nothing in the middle track – after the first 2 cans the other cans did not roll and were stuck.I tried this at least 10 times and it never worked correctly. So disappointing although we did laugh when the soft drink can jumped out!Note that standard 12 Oz soft drink cans are taller than 15 oz canned vegetables. The organizer can fit 3 rows across of canned vegetables – but not 3 rows of soft drinks. Also 28 oz cans are too big since they wonât fit thru the slot at the back.

Pay attention to the assembly instructions!
I’ll admit, sometimes I think I’m dedicated to finding the wrong way of putting things together. Then again, that doesn’t match with my assessment of myself as an intelligent, educated woman. The problem I had with the instruction sheet probably lies in that the pictures on the sheet are small and don’t really show the detail of the pieces. So my first attempt to put this together went wrong. Very wrong.I came back to the sales-pitch page for the organizer and looked at the instruction sheet there. Bigger pictures made all the difference! Once it’s together, it’s not only sturdy, it’s good looking too. I like the stackablity of it. My cans are now organized.

Solid bamboo but don’t use the included allen key
Unlike other can organizers with 2 levels, this one doesn’t dispense the cans forward on top and bottom. Instead, each top and bottom segment is connected and cans on the top roll towards the back, then drop down, and come out the front. This is kind of a shame because it makes getting at cans on the top much harder, and unless you have a whole bunch of the same kind of can, it is less useful than being able to pull cans from 3 top places and 3 bottom places. The product is solid bamboo and very solid. I tightened the included screws down a lot and none of them stripped or slipped. They include a small allen key for assembly but considering there are like 20 screws to sink, do yourself a favor and use a hex screw driver instead. Your hands will thank you.One thing I found lacking is that there are no rubber feet included. Many kitchen shelves are plastic or laminate, and bamboo just slides around on it. You will need to add your own rubber feet if you don’t want this thing moving on you.

A bit more work than expected.
I wasn’t anticipating having so many pieces to assemble in order to this complete this can organizer, but managed to get the job done. 🙂 The included instructions only include images and not written directions, but the pieces are lettered and correspond to the images, for easy reference. A key screwdriver is included, along with 18 screws for assembly (plus one extra). As this is a gravity feed dispenser, it is most practical to use with only three different types of specific products that you would purchase in bulk, i.e. a particular dog food flavor, tomato sauce, or one favorite soup, etc., as it would be difficult to display any additional variety. 7 cans per row, using the most common 4-4.5 inch width can size, will allow for 21 cans to fit onto this two tier display. (The two middle dividers are adjustable, so you can always play around with it to suit your needs. I tested cans of tuna and they seem to work, but a wider can would be more appropriate and would drop and roll smoother with this type of display design.)All in all; this is an okay unit that offers stackability. The bamboo is nice looking and sturdy enough, however packaging could have been a bit better, as the front corner of mine had arrived damaged.
