Nice elegant dinnerware
It was just what I needed for Thanksgiving table. The table was lovely I added handwoven straw chargers and matching serving dishes. Great weight and quality. Great for everyday if wanted.

I love my new dishes!
I wanted to replace my everyday dishes and this is a great quality set of bone China that looks great and they are beautiful as well as sturdy. I would highly recommend this set of dishes to anyone looking for a great set of white dishes. I love Makasaâs collections.

I love the simple elegance – I hope they are durable – one bowl came chipped
I love these plates because of their simple elegance. I appreciate the Mikassa brand for the quality that it represents. I have other Mikassa products that I have been extremely satisfied with. I expect these plates will be daily dinnerware that I can enjoy for years to come.I think these will replace a set of Correlle dinnerware that look nice and held up admirably for a very long time. They still look great, but I wanted something different that was high quality and would last equally as long. The Mikassa Crown dinnerware seems like they will be a good replacement. I like the simple white color with the simple design. I do love the large flat plate shape and the subtle crown design. I like that the bowls are deep to serve multiple purposes, such as cereal, salad, soup, etc. I hope they are truly durable also. They are not heavy plates, but just a little heavier than the Correlle, but not as heavy as stoneware.I would give the dinnerware 5 stars, but they advertise as chip resistant and one of the bowls came with a chip in the bottom rim. I can only hope that this will not happen again. The plates retain heat. The plates come out of the dishwasher hot and out of the microwave hot. So, maybe not the best plates if you have children who microwave things. It is nice that they offer these in a set of 6. Overall, I think these will be a good set of dinnerware for me.

High-quality bone china; classic white dinnerware w/subtle but beautifully embossed design…
This is a lovely set of dinnerware made of bone china (a type of porcelain). These pieces feel light-weight and have a delicate, translucent look in comparison to my stoneware and porcelain dishes, but they are actually stronger and more chip-resistant. I like the pure white color that means I will be able to mix and match the pieces in this set with all of my other dinnerware. These dishes will look great for casual family meals as well as for holidays or other special occasions. The dishes seem simply designed at first, but a closer look reveals an intricate embossed design that is subtle but very beautiful. I like that I have a choice of this stream-lined set which includes service for six, with just the pieces I most want and use (dinner plates, salad plates and medium-sized bowls) without having cups and saucers or mugs that I don’t really need any more of at this stage of my life. Or, if I was just starting out, I would be able to buy a set with service for four or eight that has the more traditional full place settings in the same pattern. These dishes and bowls look great on my table and they are durable enough to stand up to everyday use in my busy home. The sizes are just right for most of the meals I serve and there are none of the markings from silverware that happens with some types of ceramic dinnerware. I don’t use my dishwasher very much these days but I like that these are dishwasher safe for those occasions when I am serving my family plus guests and have a lot of clean-up to do. The dishes stack neatly and compactly in my cupboard and the bowls nest perfectly. This saves a lot of room for someone like me with a fairly small kitchen, but a lot of dishes and kitchen gear to store. The set was very well well packaged in three sturdy boxes with extra boxes for cushioning within a larger heavy-duty plain box. There were thick pieces of cardboard in between each piece and the dishes and bowls arrived in perfect condition. I have several sets of dinnerware from Mikasa, both casual and formal and the quality has been excellent and they have held up very well over the years. I think the price for this set is quite reasonable and I would definitely purchase dinnerware and serving pieces from this brand again.

One year review
We have had these dishes for one year now. Oddly, every salad plate has strange grayish stains and this is starting on the dinner plates and bowls. This is a home with city water, a dishwasher and no issues with other items. Beware this issue. They look dirty because of it.

very unhappy!!!
One plate and one bowl had black spots; Mikasa’s website and store on Amazon are out of stocks for the dinnerware set.I do love the pattern and they did arrive with no damage; but quality control did a very poor job. I guess I will go back to Lenox for my china dinnerware needsAmazon did refund the monies

Nice, but very thin and when stacking the bowls they stick together
This is a nice dish set but they are very thin, and when stacking the bowls in the cupboard the bowls get stuck inside each other.
