Beautiful & Functional
Such a great pot!! Beautiful, sturdy, & just the right size. It’s so pretty, havent had one in years!!! That I hated to use it, but it fits perfectly on the burner (electric stove), so easy to clean after boiling milk to make homemade yogurt…Just perfect for all sorts of uses…

Wide, shallow steamer has limited capacity. Lid does not stay on well.
Decent 3 Qt pot and steamer. Dinged one star ’cause the lid does not have a lip deep enough to hold the lid to the pot securely. The steamer is shallow. It makes up for that by being wide. I’m not sure I could cook Broccoli for four in this. This is a LARGE pot. I can’t use it on our back-burners because the control panel overhangs the surface and the pot is large enough to not fit in that location. I wish there was one of these in 2.5 Qt.

Great steamer pan
I have several Michelangelo pans, I love them! I just got an induction stove & needed new pots & pans with a magnetic bottom, these pans work great & clean up beautiful. The steamer is great, I used it the 1st time last weekend, the vegetables were perfect ð. If I need any other stainless steel pans, I know it will be a Michelangelo.

so far so good. It arrived well packed and on time. It has been only used twice and it has worked well. Heats evenly and boils quickly.

Excellent Stainless Steamer
I steam a lot of veggies, and I wanted a pan pan that was non toxic so I bought this stainless steel steamer. The steamer is excellent. The handles are stainless steel which is great because I threw out my stainless steel pans that had plastic around the handles because they always smelled awful whenever I cooked anything. I like the sides that are curved if you need to drain water from the pan. It’s a keeper!

Don’t burn anything in this pan
Over the years I have burned things in my stainless steel pans. I just boil some water and baking soda till it boils dry or almost dry and the burned food comes off easily, leaving my pans smooth and shiny new. I have a set of good quality pans I got when I got married 50 years ago and a set of high quality pans I inherited from my mother. Unfortunately both are old enough that they don’t work on my induction burner so I bought this pan. I really liked the pan, liked the shape, the double boiler, and the vented glass lid. Then I accidentally burned some syrup I was boiling down. No problem, I thought. I boiled some baking soda water. The burn released easily, but now the pan is pitted. I have had it for 1 month and 1 week and I am afraid to cook in it because some of the pits are deep and I believe the under metal which is not safe to cook on is exposed. I have cleaned burn out of stainless steel pans for over 50 years. One, I remember was a particular disaster. The burned food was a solid half inch thick and I had to use soda 3 times to get it all out., but this is the first time either burning food or cleaning the burn has done any damage to a stainless steel pan. I will never buy this brand again.
