Love this pan. It is very durable and our hope is the non stick surface will be maintained.

formula changed or quality dropped?
I bought this 8” pan in 2020 and had loved it and recommended to many people. It is light weight and truly non stick, easy to clean, and look pretty too. I then bought the larger stir fry pan in 2022 and very happy with the product as well. The non stick coating on the 8” pan started to chip off after 4 years of regular use. So, I decided to buy a new one of the same product. However, upon opening the box, I notice significant difference on the appearance of the coating, it is more flat not as sparkling and feels thinner than the previous products I purchased in 2020 and 2022. Left on the picture is the new pan and on the right is the one purchased in 2020. Not sure if the coating formula had changed or the product quality had dropped just like a lot of other manufacturers products since covid.

Excellent Frying Pan
After tossing out our old scratched and aged frying pans, we bought this nonstick pan as a replacement. Indeed, my only regret is that we didn’t buy this years ago, as the pan is absolutely wonderful! Not only does it making cooking easy, but the end result makes me look far more accomplished in the kitchen. Highly Recommended!

Works great out of the box. Having a lid is useful.
Very nice pan that has great non-stick quality. For now.For our needs this is the perfect pan, but I have yet to come across ANY non-stick cookware that lasts and lives up to its claims about longevity and scratch free rock hard surface.Ceramic, copper, diamond coating, whatever names they come up with: I haven’t noticed much difference with old style Tefal pans.As with most things in life you have to live with a compromise.In my experience only stainless steel and cast iron truly last “a lifetime” and are nearly indestructible.There is a reason that most, if not all, professional cooks/kitchens use these materials, as you can see in all the cooking shows.But, unfortunately, food tends to stick in these kinds of pans. (As an aside: My understanding is that professional cooks cook at much higher temperatures than home cooks do. This might prevent food sticking in that scenario. Non-stick pans have to be used at low-to-medium temps)Non stick pans do better as far as food sticking goes, but the non-stick part is a layer/coating that wears off over time.And that makes the pans lose their non-stick quality and creates a potential safety hazard when the coating flakes off and gets into the food.In my experience non-stick pans last a year or two at the most.Keeping that in mind, I see no point in spending big bucks on an item like this; it makes more sense to spend less and replace them when they show wear.This is a little wasteful, unfortunately, but until someone comes up with a truly revolutionary new product, that seems to be where we are.And so far this pan is as good as any we’ve had before.In fact we might add another one or two styles from the same brand.

This, like the saucepan, is an excellent buy. Foods cook quicker and easier than in other pans. It is very well made and cleans easily. An essential for your kitchen.
