Very sharp! Very useful!

Sharper than a Mother-in-law’s tongue !
I bought these for a pub that I frequent after seeing one of the bartenders struggling to slice lemons and limes ! The serrated edge does a fantastic job defeating the thick skin found on most citrous fruits !

Poor paring knife
I was disappointed to find these knives were poor at paring, compared to the Victorinox knives I own. On jobs like peeling apples, they drag. They are otherwise well made, and certainly are useful for cutting in other situations. The only difference I can detect is that the Victorinox knives at 40% narrower at the serrations than the Mercer knives.

Excellent inexpensive knife
I have a great set of knives, I also have some individual high-end knives, and then I had (PAST TENSE) a whole drawer of “junk knives”. After buying this serrated knife, I got rid of MOST of my cheaper knives, since this knife serves SO many purposes for me in the kitchen. I went back and bought the set of 3, and am loving these for everyday chores that don’t warrant getting out “the good knives”. I have arthritis, and my hands have trouble holding onto other knife handles, and these work wonderfully. The slip-free design provides a confidant cut.

Very sharp
I don’t use a peeler on potatoes and needed a new paper. These are a little too sharp for the job so I use them to cut other things. Nice knives

Best value for money.
I am so happy with Mercer culinary knives. Best value for money. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a very good high-quality knife.

I would buy again
These are smaller knives for smaller projects. They are serrated and very sharp. They are NOT for butchering a cow, if thatâs what you had in mind. But, perfect for strawberries and camping gear etc. I use them a lot. I did put two of them in the butcher block for safety and saved the heavy paper sleeve for the outdoor pack. Now Iâm back for a set for my daughter. God Bless and be safe out there. Mrs. B

A decent, inexpensive knife
These knives are inexpensive but do the job. They are very lightweight and cut well. Mercer makes good knives and they price accordingly. The more you pay, the better quality the knife, as with most things we buy.

Just received these today and I noticed that the blade and overall length are a bit longer than stated in the description (October 2023). To confirm, the blade is 8.5cm/3.35″ long along the longer edge (it’s the serrations that are the stated 7.6cm/3″). The overall length of the knife is 19cm/7.5″. The quality seems fine and the blades come nice and sharp.
