Pretty good – It does what I need it to do
This spatula is pretty good – I’ve had this spatula for a couple years now and it sees daily usage. I bought this spatula to use with my All Clad Non-Stick frying pan; for eggs, pancakes, etc. – It also gets machine washed almost everyday.Contrary to some other low rating reviews for this product, my spatula has never melted and currently shows 0 signs of heat damage. The edges are still very flat and it looks like as it did when I first bought it. I can slide under whatever is being cooked with great ease. I’ve seen a number of reviews where users state that this spatula melted during use – I can’t imagine the sheer amount of heat and time that was applied to this spatula to show signs of heat damage. The pans must be scorching hot for this plastic to insta-melt upon contact… I do not believe this to a fault of the product, but instead a fault of the user. With proper usage and care for this product, I believe this spatula will do exactly what you need it to do for many years as it has done for me.

Great spatula for non-stick
Itâs a struggle to find spatulas for non-stick pans (at least it is for me). Metal is obviously off the table. Plastic spatulas are firm enough that they do a good job slipping under food, but they tend to melt unless you keep them moving. Silicone spatulas are too flimsy so they donât have an edge. But these Mercer spatulas are working great. No sign that they are melting and definitely firm enough to slip under eggs and such. Price is great as well. Iâll definitely keep a couple of these on hand.

A Great Spatula!
I LOVE this spatula! I had a similar Kitchenaid turner spatula that I used for 10+ years before it finally broke. It was perfect for everyday cooking in a nonstick pan, especially for eggs. I tried to replace it but Kitchenaid no longer makes that model. I came across a few similar options but this was the most similar and the price is right so I gave it a shot. The handle is more basic than the Kitchenaid version, but that’s probably for the best since the handle deteriorated on the Kitchenaid model, other than that it’s almost identical. I’m looking forward to many years of use and will be buying a couple more.Update: I bought a second one in grey and I love it too.

Good all-around spatula.
I bought this specifically for my non-stick egg pan and it works great for that purpose. It has since become my go-to spatula for all non-stick cooking. I use stainless with a steel spatula for applications where i may be scraping the pan or high heat. I have seen other reviews where the plastic of this spatula melts on the edge but I haven’t had any such issues. Mine still looks great. It’s easy to clean and feels sturdy. I don’t know why but I thought it would be more flexible but I don’t mind too much. It’s pretty solid. Feels good in the hand. One small gripe for me is that the red is darker and more of a crimson or burgundy color than I thought. I really was looking for a bright red or a true red spatula. But it still looks good and stands out from my other black utensils which I like. As other reviewers have mentioned this spatula lays pretty flat (attached picture). This is good for storage and for me gives good control when flipping. But if you are looking for an angled spatula you may look elswhere.

I don’t understand the complaints about melting.
I have two of the “white” spatulas. I have used these spatulas long enough to scramble about 7 dozen eggs and flip about 25 burgers on an electric griddle and cast iron skillet. They would probably be fine, but I would not use these on a gas/charcoal/wood fired grill. After considerable use, they look like they just came out of the package. I do NOT leave the spatula in the hot skillet unless I am stirring/turning, but these are nearly perfect for my daily use. I thought I had some discoloration on one of them, but It was just a thin coating of egg yolk, that I obviously didn’t wash well enough. A damp, soapy, dishcloth easily removed it. At least for me, these have a near perfect amount of flex, MAYBE slightly on the stiff side, but that is better than too flimsy. I highly recommend.

Great tool
This is a great buy and good value for the price. The purple color is really pretty and the material is light weight and feels nice when holding it. I also like that it will not scratch my pans since the material is not metal.

Shaped a little funky
We needed a new skinnier spatula after our previous tool when to wherever trash goes when it grows up and leaves the house. This spatula filled that spot in the cupboard with flying colors! Well, with color anyway. So far, so good, it’s shaped a little funky but I kinda like that. Have not had any problems with its heat resistance or clean-ability. Since it is the go-to spatula in the kitchen, I will likely buy another for when we need 2, or when one is dirty.

Sturdy but sharp inside the spaces
This is a sturdy spatula to replace the one that my teenage son melted on me (had the other one for 20 years and loved it and still not over its loss). However, if you run your fingers in this new oneâs slots, it is so sharp it cuts your finger. Iâm not sure why that is other than itâs just not finished after itâs cut by the machine. I hand wash my dishes and utensils, so will need to be careful. Thatâs why itâs three stars. Very very sharp in those slots!

We own a similar metal spatula. Purchased this to use with non-stick cookware.

I tend to grab this spatula over my stainless steel spatula, as itâs great for lifting fond from the cladded pan. Might get another.
