High Quality — Perfect for Metric and US Standard Recipes
I was introduced to the metric measuring system in junior high and had never had the opportunity to use it again for baking and other cooking applications. Because every recipe I found online and inside cookbooks used the US Standard measurement system.Finally, I received a bread machine cookbook for Christmas that uses the metric system. The small measuring cups that came with my bread machine have the very basic metric measurement system, which will work for many bread recipes. I’ll have to keep those cups because they have the 3/8 measurement. This set does not.What it does have is engraved measurements on the handle that list both the Standard and the metric in milliliter measurements. Each cup has embossed measurements on the sides at the halfway and three quarter-point measurements. For instance the 1/3 cup features measurements for 1/3 and 1/6 cup measurements, while the 3/4 cup offers measurements for the 1/3, 1/2, and 3/4 measurements. This might help me save time if I’m making more than one recipe or if the recipe has more than one component (ex. dough and filling).The measuring spoons range from 1/16 tsp to 1 T, with ml listings engraved in parentheses. I like the rectangular scoops because I was able to scoop a tablespoon of Italian seasoning out of the store brand spice box. I’m not able to do that with my round tablespoon. The leveler is very convenient for making recipes that require exact measurements.Another thing I liked was the quality of these measuring cups and spoons. They’re made of polished solid stainless steel that comes in a beautiful copper color. Stacked together, they are somewhat heavy.I’m not sure if this set is dishwasher safe because I wasn’t able to find that information on or inside the box. So, I plan to hand wash and dry them.

Beautiful Measuring Set
I love that these. They have additional measuring sizes and they stack well and take up less room to store than the 4 set cup I already had. In addition, the extra wide handles are very sturdy and solid where my old set handles bent all the time. I had several comments from other people on how nice this set is and that they were planning on purchasing. I actually ordered additional sets to give as gifts. This is a beautiful set that you wont regret purchasing.

I would normally get the cheapest I could find but I specifically wanted this shape measuring spoon to fit into small bottles and jars and I wanted the most options because I hate when I need a size I don’t have. These are so heavy and substantial compared to the dinky incomplete set they’re replacing. So many options with markings for the full and half size in each cup, so simple and yet so brilliant. They’re better than I expected so I have no regrets!
