The measuring cup looks accurate to the product photos and arrived in perfect condition. It comes with one of those round batteries and is not rechargeable. The handle and the cup need to be put together, but itâs very easy to do. They feel sturdy enough. The cup and handle our lightweight. You should disconnect the cup from the handle if youâre washing it. The cup is easy to clean. It doesnât take up much space, so itâs easy to put in your kitchen drawers. It alleviates the need for multiple different measuring cups.The handle has a screen and two buttons. The if you short press,p the power button, use zero out the spoon. If you long press the power button, you turn it on or off. The other button allows you to switch between the different measuring units. They include grams, ounces, cups and milliliters. I think the accuracy in the of the measurements is pretty good, so it works well.I think itâs decent for $15.

Handy Kitchen Food Scale in a Sccop
What is particularly nice about this food measuring device is that you don’t have to put the food item you want to measure in a dish or bowl or cup and then figure out how to subtract the weight of the container. If you want to measure a piece of meat, for example, you just place it in the scoop, which starts out set to zero. The weight it then gives you is the weight of the meat slice, period.It is smaller than a full-sized food scale (the scoop measures roughly five inches long, three inches wide, and two inches deep), but we find that that is fine for most of the items we want to measure. You simply press the power button to turn it on and use the “switch” button to determine whether you want your measurement in grams, milliliters, cups, or ounces. The buttons are small, but that is not really a problem.Its one real weakness is its display, which unfortunately is not backlit so you are looking at small black numerals against a gray background. The actual measurement numbers are usually easy to read, but it can be difficult seeing what unit of measurement (i.e., grams, ounces, etc.) it is set for. Having a smallish and fairly dim screen no doubt prolongs battery life (and it automatically turns itself off after 30 seconds to help save the battery).The scoop is made of fairly thick plastic and looks quite sturdy. You can detach the scoop part from the handle to clean it. The instructions (which are on the box, not on a separate sheet of paper) do not say whether you can put it in a dishwasher; my inclination is to wash it by hand. It is also no problem to wash the handle, but since it contains the electronics it is wise to do so carefully.A major advantage is that you can store the scoop in a drawer as opposed to a regular food scale which takes up counter space. For those who have to deal with a small apartment kitchen that is a real boon. My only (relatively minor) complaint is that it does not have a larger or brighter display; otherwise this is a very nice device to have in your kitchen.

Great baking tool
I love spending time cooking and baking for my Family. This Food Measuring Scoop Scale is a game changer! It is especially handy for bread baking. I measure by weight for my bread and the scoop and scale makes it easy to measure and add ingredients. The scale is accurate and easy to read. No more fumbling with a kitchen scale, bowls, etc. I scoop the correct amount and done. The handle is large and easy to hold. The scoop is very well made and sturdy. It is easy to maintain. The handle disconnects and I wash everything by hand. Storage is simple also. It fits in my kitchen drawer always handy. This would make a great gift for any cook or baker.

Works okay, but a bit pricey
So… the packaging screams cheap chinese junk… the measuring cup continues singing this song as you unpack it. It’s thin, light plastic that probably won’t last very long through daily kitchen use. The cup does disconnect for washing, but I wouldn’t get the electronic handle anywhere near water… so be careful as to no get it dirty at all… which means spending more time worrying with your measuring cup than you should have to while cooking… all for almost $20.I’d save the money and get a nice measuring cup set. 3 Stars

Cheaply made
Not only was the item cheaply made. Took longer to get the item than was told. I was unable to get it to work properly And It came with no instructions. I live in a rural area and to return the item is not easy. And unfortunately I have health issues at this time Taking the loss. but will not order from this company again

Really handy…..
I really like this “utensil”…..not only does it measure weight but volume as well. This is going to end up replacing my measuring cups and small digital kitchen scale, lol. I originally chose it for sourdough starter as it would and does make feeding it easier, but find myself going to it for use with a lot of different foods. It measures grams, milliliters, fluid ounces and cups with simple two button operation (power and unit of measure). It’s super easy to clean and I’m very happy with it….I have a lot of uses for it. ð

Accurate Measurements
I got this to measure out dog food for my three dogs. It works perfectly for that, but a scoop like this would also be useful in the kitchen, especially if you prepare large meals or do a lot of baking. Itâs a medium-sized scoop that holds up to 800 grams. It measures and/ or weighs grams, milliliters, cups, fluid ounces, and ounces.When you receive it, youâll need to attach the handle to the scoop. The handle is where the digital components used to measure and/or weigh the contents of the scoop are housed. The handle easily slides into the scoop and attaches. Once you insert the included battery into the compartment at the bottom of the handle, itâs ready to use. There are two buttons on the handle. The button on the left turns it on. The button on the right displays a different measurement (grams, cups, etc) each time you press it.The measurements and weights the scoop provides are accurate. I couldnât get the battery cover back on the handle, so I had to tape it on, but thatâs the only problem Iâve had with it. That might even be user error – I canât be sure.
