If you purchase the correct size with enough drape slipperiness will not be an issue. This is a great quality tablecloth. It is the perfect neutral color to be able to build a nice table setting on top of. Light weight, waterproof and washable. Wrinkles a little but once flattened out looses the wrinkles quickly.

I bought both a round and a rectangular tablecloths from a single listing that included many sizes. I was surprised that although the colors matched well, the fabrics of the two were quite different. That can still be used together. Both table cloths were extremely wrinkled when they arrived and washing them did not soften the wrinkles at all. They had to be ironed extensively with steam to make them presentable. Thankfully, the wrinkles did not return after the post dinner washing.
