Most Important pot in the Kitchen – love, love it!
A 7 quart cast iron enamel dutch oven is a must in everyone’s kitchen; we use it for stews, soups, lentils, rice and chicken dish, beans for burritos, a whole chicken with potatoes, carrots, onions or whole chicken for enchiladas and so many other dishes. We are a busy family and love to cook extra food for freezing for those nights when you want good food and are tired and do not want to cook. We will need to buy another one soon; this one is always in use and rarely makes it to be put away in the cupboard. We love Martha Stewart items of all kinds – she’s so practical, wise and affordable.
Everyone needs this lovely, easy to clean, even cooking pot -A Must have, wonderful must buy!

    Quality Dutch Oven
I’ve been wanting a Dutch oven for some time and have been browsing products through Amazon. This popped up as “suggested” so I gave it a look. It had some solid reviews, so I pulled the trigger.
First and foremost, AMAZING quality for the price. You can feel the weight and the coating is solid. The whole Dutch oven feels like one worth 5x the price (and I’ve seen those ones!) The size is perfect for soups, chowders and of course, bread! (7 quarts)
My first use was bread. Popped it in a 450° oven to warm it up. I made a garlic cheese bread dough, lined it with parchment paper, placed it back in the oven and 30 minutes later, perfect bread! Took the top off and allowed it to brown. No discoloration or staining of the Dutch oven, and it cleans like a dream. I highly recommend this for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune, but wants a good quality Dutch oven.

    Absolutely love
Love this so much. I’ve always needed a Dutch oven and never had one. Now I’m so glad I finally got one. Great value for the money. Its capacity is exactly what I need for baking sourdough and soups. It’s really cute. As you use it, it does get a little charred so if you get the white it’ll have some marks on it. But I think it gives it character. Works really well and would buy again

Yellow enamel chipped off one handle after less than a year!
I LOVE this larger capacity Dutch oven, but after several uses, I was washing once (with a soft cellulose sponge) and noticed a small flake of enamel on one of the handles. I washed it by hand (I did not drop or bump it on anything), and another small piece of enamel flaked off the handle in another spot, so now in less than one year, I have a damaged but otherwise perfect pot. The enamel coating seems thin to me compared to the old Dutch oven I have (not this brand), and should not simply crack and flake off with washing. I was very happy, and now I am disappointed. I always use Dawn Power Spray to clean, but I guess having a “designer” name doesn’t make the product any better! I’ll likely donate this one to somebody who doesn’t care about the enamel coming off, and go back to the “expensive” brand that stands the test of time! I (wrongly) thought “Martha” products were endorsed to be sturdy. This WAS such a perfect pot!

Very high quality material and paint used. Withstands high heats for cooking sourdough breads and searing roasts! Easy to clean as finish very smooth. Pot has been used weekly for a year in photo and no signs of wear. Great value for the bit extra over the competition.

I could literally hear Martha in my head when I pulled it from the box. The color is perfect, and gold handle is eye catching, and the weight is almost excessive. The build quality is fantastic, and it’s priced well when it’s on sale. Easy to clean so far after using it for holiday dinners. The 7 quart Dutch oven is huge though. If you’re looking for a deep fryer and smaller one I’d suggest a smaller size. I could almost fit a 13lb turkey in the 7qt.
    Awesome item so far.

Keep it on my stovetop for Valentine’s Day decor and useful in the oven for a small loaf or casserole.
