Pleasantly surprised!
Not a pro chef but I enjoy cooking. I didn’t need a nakiri knife, but, i wanted one to complete my “collection” of Henckels and Victorinox knives I’ve slowly built. For the price paid, this MS nakiri was a great option. First, it’s sharp, very sharp. Grip size, balance, and ease of use can be rated, but, how a knife feels in the hand when in use comes down primarily to personal preference. The MS nakiri hits all the points, for me, at an extremely affordable price. It easily slices and chops veggies, producing “see-thru” slices of tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. Perfect for slicing and smashing/chopping garlic, too.

Nice knife
This is a well-made slice knife. The size is perfect for general use in the kitchen, such as cutting watermelon, fruits, and vegetables. It’s light and easy to handle. It’s pretty sharp and easy to sharpen after being used for a while. The only complaint is the handle is kind of thin to me. Overall, it’s a very good knife and will be very useful in my kitchen for years to come.

Great Quality Cleaver
The full tang design of this cleaver helps A LOT when using it to chop through foods, even those with bones.This cleaver feels good and balanced in the hand, and it’s full tang design greatly increases its sturdiness and strength. The bladed edge is quite sharp and with the weight with the cleaver it makes chopping through veggies and meats easy. I’ve used this cleaver for carving up a whole chicken, mainly for chopping through it to separate the thigh from the body with one clean cut and then using another knife for carving the rest of the chicken. It definitely does make the carving process a lot easier when I make roast chicken dinners. It does a nice job for cubing up pork loins/shoulders for pozole, or any type of meat for soup.Overall, this cleaver is strong and sturdy, chops through veggies and meats easily. It’s became one of my most used items when it comes to making home cooked dinners, especially for roast chicken dinner and for soups, since this is the only knife that I need to prepare the dinner.

This 6″ Nakiri Knife by Martha Stewart is a surprisingly nice knife especially considering the very low price point. It handles well, is very sharp and is made like a knife priced many times the price of this fine knife. SMALL handle…
As other reviews have stated, the handle is awkwardly SMALL. I have long, thin fingers and I’m a female. I could not comfortably / ergonomically hold the knife. Otherwise, it is a high quality very nice product! Had to return.

Very sharp
I’m very satisfied with my choice to order this knife! I got this because my current vegetable knife was getting dull. This knife came just as pictured, it also had a plastic piece to prevent you from cutting yourself when you unbox it. I’m so glad that they do that because this knife is super sharp. I would definitely buy their other knives when my current ones become dull. I highly recommend The Martha Stewart collection the next time you need a knife.
