Heavy but beautiful pot
Iâve only used this pot once so far and really liked it. Itâs a great size and beautiful color. It cooks evenly. It cleans nicely too. It is pretty heavy though.

Lovely
So pretty and the light colored enamel doesn’t stain! I’ve used it for soups and breads, and it does well. Just be prepared for it to be heavy!

Nicely styled Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven in a 3 Quart Size
I had been looking for a smaller sized enameled cast iron dutch oven for awhile now. I like how versatile Dutch ovens can be when cooking, and also how well they hold the heat, but the Dutch oven I had is just too large when cooking for only one or two people normally. This dutch oven is elegant looking, with a ripple embossed around the perimeter of the pan. The color of the pan I chose is called Martha Blue, which has a slight green tint added to the light blue color. The lid of the dutch oven fits tightly. The lid also is self basting, as it has a dimpled surface rather than a smooth one, which is something I really like, as it makes basting pretty much a thing of the past in this style of a dutch oven. Comparing Martha Stewart’s Dutch Oven to a Le Creuset or Staub version, both of which I have used in the past, Martha Stewart’s Dutch Oven seems to be slightly thinner than the others. That is not necessarily a detriment, as it makes the oven lighter in weight. The Martha Stewart 3 quart sized pan is still plenty heavy. Martha Stewart’s Dutch oven is not dishwashable, whereas Le Creuset is. I do not remember what the dishwashing status was with Staub. Most noticeable however, and I took one star off my rating because of it – the glazing on the Martha Stewart Dutch oven is not applied as well as it is with Le Creuset or Staub. On the exterior of the Martha Stewart Dutch oven, the glaze is fine, but along the interior, just below the rim where the lid would rest, the glazing was both unevenly applied and thin. I can actually see a white glaze and then the interior glaze, which is more a creamy color that attempts to cover the white in all places, but does not quite make it over everything at the rim.. Other than the glazing, this is a nice Dutch oven for the price involved. It should last for years if careful with it. I am happy with mine.

Love it
Bought it to make a sweet potato casserole and it came out amazing. Pot is on the heavy side when picking it up.

Heavy duty
Great alternative to the French overpriced products. They keep this on the stove just as a nice piece. I mostly use it for cooking sauces. It’s super heavy and very durable.

This cookware is stylish and compact just enough to make bread. Satisfied. True to color

This is heavy pan. I’m 76 yr old female senior. I didn’t have much trouble Lifting it when full. It cooks well. The base of the pan is about 10 inches width. It a 4-6 family size pan. It’s easy to clean as long as the food isn’t left to stick. The color is pleasant to the eyes. I would recommended this for batch or 4-6 person cooking. It’s cast iron so it’s a heavy pan.

Functional and beautiful. I love the extra space inside which allows me to make dishes where I can move things around and it’s not crowded. The enameled cast iron makes it naturally non-stick and clean-up was so easy, literally it took just a dishcloth and dish soap, no scrubbing needed. The Martha Blue colour is gorgeous. I took one star off because the lid doesn’t sit on the base completely flat. There is a very slight wobble to it, very slight. I am very picky so I notice everything. Not worth returning for this. Other than that my braiser is flawless. I’m looking at purchasing more Martha Stewart enameled cast iron pieces in Martha Blue.

For the price, I didnât expect this to be anywhere near LeCreuset or Staub, but itâs heavy, beautiful and at this price point Iâm buying a few more.
