Solid and beautiful
I broke my previous spoon rest and its replacement sucked. This one, however, is a keeper in all ways. It elegantly blends in with the stovetop, is easy to clean, and holds the spoon at an appropriate angle. What is an appropriate angle, you ask? I discovered how an inappropriate angle (tilted way up) was a distraction and obstruction when cooking. THIS one holds the spoon above the stove surface just enough to keep it out of the way. A win-win!

Definitely a great spine rest! Love it and am very happy! But if you want something that allows you to rest say, a spatial or tongs, this would not be for you due to the distinctive spoon shape rest area. Otherwise itâs heavy and beautifully made.
