High Quality, Beautiful Tablecloth
I purchased this as a gift for my cousin for hosting me on my recent trip to the east coast. She and her husband have a wonderful outdoor screened-in porch with a glass table. Her tablecloth was in the wash and I thought âHey, she needs a spare.â I sent the photo of this tablecloth to her with measurements so I could pick the correct fit for her table. She was so tickled, as it was one she had also been looking at on Amazon! It is an excellent quality, lovely all cotton tablecloth with a beautiful printed pattern. They do a lot of entertaining on the screened-in porch, so I am certain sheâll get a lot of use from it. She says she loves looking at it every day and it is a beautiful reminder of our friendship.

Quality and weight is very nice and looks lovely with many decors. Washed in cold and dried on low and came out great. It will require some ironing or steaming if you really want a crisp look as it is 100% cotton (which I like). Looking forward to using this for many years to come.

BEAITIFUL DESIGN BUT FLAWLED LAYOUT – HEARTBROKEN BIRD LOVER!
This Review is for The Birdies on Wire, 69″ Round Tablecloth.POSITIVES: Gorgeous colorful birds in a vibrant watercolor-like design. Very nice quality linen cloth. It feels sturdy but not rough and not slippery either. The printed design is consistent and sharp. The background is white, but not brilliant white. The cloth is printed all over with a subtle ecru/very light tan print that coordinates well with the checkered circle design at center and edge. I absolutely LOVE this design and am heartbroken it won’t work for my table!NEGATIVE/DISAPPOINTMENT: Although the cloth will FIT a table up to 60″ diameter round table — the printed bird design will only work correctly on a table that is no more than 46″ diameter.Alas, my dining room table is 48″ in diameter and the little birdie heads had to bend over the edge. In my opinion, that totally ruined the effect of this charming birdies on a wire design! My hubby says it looks fine — but I know this design flaw will bother me every day, so I am sending it back.Since this cloth is 69″, I calculated it would have a hang down of about 10.5 inches – and it does. The problem is that the bird border needs MINIMUM of 11.5 inches overhang in order the bird heads not to be bent over the table’s edge. A 45″ tabletop would give 12″ overhand which I think would look the best.I’ve posted pictures with a measuring tape on the tablecloth so that you can see what you’ll be getting.The product images you see from Maison d’ Hermine must show the table cloth on a 36″ table with the edge hangover of 16.5 inches. (Who wants that much overhang on a tablecloth?) Unless you intend to use this as a decorative cover for an occasional table or are willing to have your birdie heads bent over the table edge, you may not be happy with this cloth.HERE ARE THE MEASUREMENTS FROM THE PICTURES:Diameter of center design with birds on a wire: 17 inchesDiameter across the center of circular small checker print, from outside edges: 35 inchesDistance from edge of the first small checker print to edge of tablecloth: 17 inchesDistance from birds on a wire design to edge of tablecloth: 11.5″ to 12″ (varies depending on the bird’s pose)The tablecloth is also offered in 63″ size and I can only assume that would fit a table up to 40″ diameter. Again – that is with the full birdie on a wire border hanging down on the sides.Hope this review is helpful! I’m off to do some more birdwatching in hopes of finding a bird-themed tablecloth that works for me!
