Impressive kettle
We are truly impressed with this kettle. Everything works as expected. Full kettle cold to boiling in 5 minutes. Reading several of the prior reviews had me wondering how it operated. Prior Review instructions said to select 1. Temp. 2. Select Power. That is not how this kettle operates. Maybe they listened and corrected the issues. My kettle operates like this.1. Select Power ( automatically sets to 212). Kettle comes up to temperature and shuts off for steeping.2. If lower temperature is desired. Select Power then desired temperature. Kettle will come up to temperature and shuts off for steeping.3. If you want to keep kettle at selected temperature. Select the (KEEP WARM) button after Power & Temperature are selected. Kettle will continue to warm for 1 hour and then shut off.The instructions that came with unit werenât totally clear or wording not accurate which had me confused but, Hopefully this helps anyone researching this product.

Great new kettle
I am pretty impressed with this tea kettle. I love making fruit tea and this has both an infuser and a removable strainer at spout. So when I pour a cup, Iâm only getting liquid. The keep warm feature is very handy. I will note that it does not keep a rolling boil, it just keeps the tea at boiling. I also like how wide the top is which makes it easy it is to clean, since I donât always use the infuser. Sometimes I put fruit directly into the kettle.

No ability to keep tea warm after it’s brewed
I wanted to love this pot. It heats up really fast, and looks beautiful on the counter. It feels sturdy when you pick it up, and has the perfect amount of room for loose tea leaves. However, the most important feature of an electric teapot is the ability to keep the tea warm once it’s brewed. Why would I brew an entire pot, and then just drink a cup while allowing the rest of the pot to get cold. While there is a “keep warm” button on the teapot, it appears to be for display only. When I searched the reviews for how long this pot stays warm, one person said 10 minutes, one said 30 minutes, one said 1 hour, and one said 2 hours. In reality, the longest the keep warm button works is for the 10 minutes – not 30, 60, 120 minutes. I’ll be sending this back and will find one that keeps the tea at the desired temp for at least 1 hour.

Huge upgrade from 10 year old GE plug in water kettle
Very happy with this overall. Heats very fast, love the temperature setting options. We have not used the tea infuser but it looks well made. Only gripe is that the lid does not open fully when you press the button and you do have to open it up fully by hand to fill it. Might just be a glitch with ours but the whole family loves this thing.

Testing the keep warm feature…not straight forward.
I came back to edit my review. I LOVE the look and sturdiness of this pot. I am a little put off by the keep warm function. It is NOT straight forward.1. Press temp2. Press Power3. Press keep warm.If you don’t do this it will turn off after a few minutes. We will try it for the next few days before deciding to keep it or not. This is out first day with it.
