    Know What You’re Buying
After reading some reviews on here I decided to make my own. Something I think people need to understand is that the Magic Bullet (MB) blender was made for very specific use. I haven’t seen the info-mercials but I can say that for me, this is the perfect blender. Here’s why:1. Size – The MBs compact size means it’s easy to store. This is crucial for people who don’t have a lot of cabinet/counter space. My counter already has a coffee pot, espresso machine, toaster, knife rack, etc. I need a blender that doesn’t take up very much space, so for me, it’s the perfect size because I leave it sitting out. The extra accessories can be left in the box it came in and put in the attic or basement for storage if you won’t be using them on a regular basis. I only use the 20oz cup.2. Ease of Use – We live in an age where people want simplicity. By design, the MB already has your serving size pre-determined. This is great for people who are conscientious about their portion sizes. In addition, it makes clean up easier. There’s no need to pour your drink from a pitcher to a cup, so not only are you using less dishes, but the design of it is just like cleaning a glass. Also, there is only one speed of the MB. This may seem like a detractor, but the switch between pulsing and pureeing works well and should handle any job a normal blender does. I found this surprising omission to be one of its best attributes, hence it’s specific use.3. Functionality – I’ve only used the MB to make smoothies/shakes and it works great. Some reviewers have complained that the MB underperforms in this area but I think it is a case of operator error. They must be using it wrong because after I got the hang of it, I found that I have a perfect smoothies/shakes. What I would recommend is to blend your ice (approx. 5 pcs) and milk/water (approx. 1 cup) first. Break the ice up by pulsing the MB. Once this is done, add in whatever mix/powder you want in it. Mix it in by pureeing it. Lastly I add half a banana by pureeing it as well. The result is a perfect drink without any ice chunks. I find for smoothies it works better than a blender. All in all I highly recommend the MB if the details I listed earlier are what you’re looking for. If you want more than single servings at one time I would look elsewhere. Otherwise, the MB should be able to handle any job a traditional blender does.

    Perfect Kitchen Appliance
When I first heard about the Magic Bullet years ago, it stuck in my head because it is a seemingly strange but cool name for a little blender. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews for this product, so I bought the blender as a gift to my sister, knowing that she often does not have time to cook meals. The infomercials claimed that this product was able to help make healthy blends of food in just minutes. The package arrived promptly as promised before her birthday. To my surprise, my sister met me with great enthusiasm, and I was even more surprised by this great addition to the kitchen. The Magic Bullet offers speed, versatility, durability, simplicity, and cleanliness. It was truly a serendipitous discovery.Perhaps the most salient point to Magic Bullet is its simplicity in design and usage. It is small and suitable for storage, but still functional as a piece of equipment that blends about everything you need. Whether it is fruits, vegetables, coffee beans, or ice, all you have to do is load everything inside the cup, and blend. If you’re like me, and you love to cook but just hate to clean up, then you’ll find this attractive: the Magic Bullet is also very easy to clean. Even with all this blending, scraping, and washing, the Magic Bullet is very durable. Case in point: I’ve grinded and blended many rough things as mentioned before for the past couple months, but the Magic Bullet is still good as new. Magical! Some of the negative reviews that I’ve read contrast directly with my last point. Two of the most common problems are overheating and inability to fully grind up food. To these I would suggest adding some liquid, unlocking the bullet, shaking, and then grinding again. It is a harmless and repetitive process, but as long as you keep up with the controlled bursts of grinding, the Magic Bullet should be able to chop up the food you have without overheating. I have not experienced any mix that takes longer than ten consecutive seconds to fully blend together.Personally, I have found great use in the Magic Bullet for making omelets and steak marinades. For omelets, all you have to do is throw in the individual materials, such as mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, or peppers, and then grind them. Just throw everything together with an egg and mix for about five seconds. Finally you can just simply pour everything on a hot pan and the omelet should be ready after it is cooked.Creating a steak marinade is the perfect job for the Magic Bullet. A good steak marinade needs to be very well blended into a consistent homogenous mixture so that the meat can be soaked with the same flavor. Throw in the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, parsley flakes, basil, pepper, and just let the blender work its magic. The process of making marinades is no longer tedious and boring thanks to the efficiency of this product. Once you are done using it, all the greasy material can be wiped out of the magic bullet in seconds for the next use!I highly recommend this appliance. It is suitable for most families and definitely great for college dorm use. However, if you are looking for something heavy duty, maybe the Magic Bullet isn’t your choice. Conduct a little research to see if it will work for the items you will be trying to blend the most. However, the Magic Bullet is still a very handy blender to have in the kitchen, and it is very well worth the price.
