Great product
I use this on my gas BBQ and it turns it into a flat top. Easier to maintain than cast iron and works just great. Well made- I expect it to last as long as I do! 🙂

PRICE IS SCARY BUT IT IS WORTH IT. AND A HEALTHY GRIDDLE.
What can I say I didnât want to pay this much, but I did. And Iâm happy with it. Threw out the Coated non stick smaller griddle that came with my LG stove. I am a bladder cancer survivor and I will never use pans that are toxic again. Made In is safe and healthy and this will be my go to.

Warped after some use.
I use this on an induction cooktop which cannot fully heat the entire thing, since the “burner” is about two-thirds as wide as this griddle. After using it in this way a few times on high heat, it warped and does not lie flat anymore. That might just be normal behavior of carbon steel, idk, but if I knew that in advance I’d have bought something thicker or smaller, or something in stainless steel. The very high angle edges make it easy to clean, but also very easy to spill while cooking. I think a lower angle would be better (and maybe even strengthen it against warping).

Too Large for GE Profile range
Great product! Did not fit my GE Profile range so I had to return it

Will not fit in oven. if you want to sear something and finish in oven it wont fit
Unlike cast iron this pan while trying to heat up really hot on induction it warped/bowed and quit having a direct contact. Tried to season in really hot oven and found out it won’t fit in rather large bosch range. other then that a quality product but will have to keep temp down and realize it won’t go into oven for anything.

Recommended by a local chef, works great on our induction stovetop
A local chef recommended this griddle during our cooking class at an appliance store that sells induction ranges and cook tops. It’s become a workhorse in our kitchen because of its versatility and because I can grill a whole meal on it at once. The griddle arrives pre-seasoned but I didn’t trust it to be nonstick, so I heated a thin film sunflower oil on it for the first use. It is almost perfectly nonstick (I always cook with at least a little oil) and it heats up very fast on our cooktop. The handles do heat up but they remain cool enough for me to move the griddle quickly with my bare hands. For cleaning I do not use soap or detergent. I rinse it with hot water, rub a sprinkle of table salt to remove any food residue, rinse again, dab it dry and then put it on the cooktop on low heat for 5 minutes to thoroughly dry. I also use a large metal lid from another pot for covering food and a large flat metal spatula with wood handle.

A little too big for a standard stove and oven
This griddle is very high quality. It has all the properties of cast iron, but it is even more indestructible. The problem is that it just slightly the wrong size for the stove. Most of the time I’ve seen these in use they are used on a flat stove with the controls in the front, and there is no problem with that. Mine, however, has the controls in the back, so the handle of the griddle bumps into the back of the stove, and the front hangs off the edge by just a half inch. Also, I tried to put it in the oven to do the initial seasoning, and while it barely fit when I put it in, it got stuck in the oven after being in their an hour. I’m guessing the steel expanded a bit from the heat. I was able to pull it out with a bit of tugging, but I will not be putting it back in the oven.Just to be clear, my stove and oven aren’t super cheap, and they are a standard size. It just seems like a company that prides itself on quality, like Made In, would understand that their product is too big for a normal appliance.

Best Griddle I’ve ever owned
I had a hard time convincing myself to pay what I paid for this. But now that I bought it, I’m glad I paid the money and got this griddle. The surface gets better and better with every use. Also, the handles stay relatively cool while using the griddle which makes it nice to pick it up and poor out the grease if need be. The sides of the griddle keep your food and oil contained which is also very helpful. Overall, I would recommend this griddle because this is a prime example of “you get what you pay for”.

I crush smash burgers year round and rock this griddle in my induction cooktop for breakfasts for the family. I use it also in my grill. It’s heavy but not too heavy. Solid, you know. I like it.

we use it between the induction magnets, the center takes a while to get warmed up between the two magnets but its great for keeping things warm and not cooking. no scratching noticed on glass top after a few uses.
