Great size for small counter space
I purchased the LUUKMONDE 1500W electric kettle a year ago and itâs still working as well as the first day. Itâs used every day. It holds a good amount of water, heats it fast and turns itself off in a timely manner. I appreciate the blue light especially in the early morning. It is a smaller electric kettle than others but holds plenty of water for a few cups in the morning. It doesnât take up much counter space and has a clean simple design. The opening is also a good size for filling with water and the occasional cleaning, itâs easy to fit your hand inside and wipe it out. The push button on top of the handle to open the lid pushes easily. The handle is secure and easy to grip.

Defective
This kettle is supposed to have an Auto-Off feature once the water boils, which is what makes it worth having. The one I previously purchased DID NOT EVER TURN OFF making it not only defective, but really dangerous.The return process with Amazon was horrible because I was two days outside of the 60-day return window, even though the item never worked (it was for my brother who just finally took it out to try it)–took hours of negotiations on their chat and phone to get a replacement, hoping this one works. I would just start with another company completely.

Just got this. Nice small unit that heats up fast. Will heat a liter. (How often do you need more than that?)Nice blue light tells you itâs going. Flip up large lid that is very convenient.Longevity is always an issue with these units. Electricity+heat+water is not conducive to long life.Anyway, if it goes kerplooie anytime soon, Iâll update.

Quick, Convenient Kettle
We were looking for a kettle to heat up a small amount of water for a variety of things (Vietnamese drip coffee, heating up components of child Omie lunchbox to keep it warm until lunch, etc). Previously, we were microwaving the water in a glass measuring cup, which took a lot longer. This kettle is powerful and quick as it heats up the water to a boil in no time! With the large opening top, it is fairly easy to clean, which is an added bonus. This little thing helps streamline weekday mornings for our family!

Perfect–single piece glass (no glue)
I looked everywhere for a small electric kettle made of one piece of glass. I prefer glass over stainless steel because the latter could leak chromium. But most glass kettles are made of two pieces of glass–the wall and the base are glued together. Or at least that’s what the pictures look like. This was the only one I could find that is made of a single piece of glass. I checked thoroughly when it arrived. Moreover, this is the size that I was looking for. I wanted a compact one. Very happy to get lucky! I am going to order another one as a back up, because there is none like it.

This Kettle leaks. I can’t contact the company and trying to return it has been a hassle. Don’t waste your money.They also ask you to pay for shipping to return it which is about the cost of the kettle so it’s money thrown away here.EDIT: the company reached out to me and offered a full refund so have changed a one star to four. I may have just had bad luck.

I have been looking for a smallish, modern, and stylish glass kettle for a while and am so glad I found this.Love the clean lines and materials, and the base doesn’t slide around like so many others.Boils speedily too.The only caveat (and it’s a really small one) is that the lid gets hot after boiling, so be aware when closing it if you want to refill immediately after using.Great compact kettle.Edit: Mid February 2024 it packed in as the lever to set it to boil stopped working.
