This is actually just an oversized mouse pad the you use upside down. We use it under the coffee pot. That being said, it has worked well in our house. Using the felt side down lets the pad slide out easily from under the cabinet so I can set up a pot of coffee and easily slide it back. I had another slider (plastic with rubber fee) from years ago but it was a pain, always looked dirty, left black marks on my countertop and the top piece kept sliding off the bottom piece since it didn’t really slide out far enough to access the coffee pot properly. Husband likes this one much better and I find it easier to clean using just a soft brush with soap and water and hang to dry.
