After purchase these, I’m sold and will never buy another brand!! Outstanding quality, durable, easy to assemble handle and easy cleanup! I was excited to find how efficiently they distributed heat.

Great Handles.
The handles are magnificent: comfortable, relatively unheated by the pan. They might be the best handles I have had on any cookware. But a saucepan’s qualities extend beyond the handles. Or they ought to.The primary feature of these saucepans is that they are stainless steel and cost about a third as much as leading brands. By the standards of more expensive brands the construction is light. I think there are small All-Clad saucepans that would survive if you drove a small car over them. I have used such heavy saucepans to flatten chicken breast to make chicken piccatta. These pans, however, would be worthless for such a task.The surfaces are heavily textured, making cleaning gratuitously difficult. I was entertained that the package insert advises one heat the surface to 350ºF before adding anything. This may help prevent sticking in a skillet; but how is this supposed to work in a saucepan which is used to heat water? I poached an egg in one of these. I scrubbed it out with a Scotchbrite pad, then I cleaned it in the dishwasher. After these two cleaning steps only a postage-stamp sized amount of egg remains stuck. I await my Amazon order of stainless steel scrubbing pads.The fact that the lips are not flared makes pouring liquid from these almost impossible to do without spilling. So they are not a good choice for making Indian style hot tea or any other thin sauce or broth – an ironic quality for a saucepan. The pans seem too light and too hard to clean to use for cooking any solid food. I’m not even going to test it with rice until my flame tamer arrives. They are not well suited for pouring sauces or water.So what are they ideally suited for? They could be used for boiling eggs or deep-frying small food items. They could be used to keep a broth warm that will be removed with a soup ladle rather than by pouring. It is possible that if one boiled a sauce down until it is really thick, it would pour well enough. If so, one might be able to turn this flaw into a kind of quality control tool to see if a sauce has simmered long enough.Finally, when I bought this set of three pans, two handles arrived in one package, one in another. The single one fits best on the largest pan; the two packaged together fit on the smaller pan. And this raises on more question. Hygenic standards have, for years, focused on eliminating voids to trap bacteria; and I am a little surprised that these bolt-on handles meet the standards required. In light of this I might be wary of buying these for a commercial kitchen.These are not bad pans. They are a joy to manipulate, and can fill a niche in a kitchen. But when you save 67%, don’t imagine you are getting the pan that costs three times as much.

Not terrible for the price
I initially really liked these pots, they are light weight and the handles don’t get too hot to touch. They look elegant and if used properly, your food will not stick. Although, I’ve had these about a month and one of the welded screws popped right off on the handle and I cant find ANY contact information for the company to see if they would repair or replace it. So thats really disappointing.
