The 14 inch bag is the one Lodge recommends to use with their Kickoff (not Sportsman) grill. I do quite a bit of campfire dutch oven cooking, I have an 8″ 2 quart, a 12″ 5 quart, and a 12″ 8 quart camp dutch oven from various MFGs including Lodge. I have a 12″ Camp Chef bag and it always left me feeing, insecure about the protection of my Dutch oven and / or my camper. The Lodge bag for my 8″ is made with VERY nice heavy polyester nylon type material, with super rugged nylon webbing straps, and a good amount of dense foam padding. The Camp Chef was padded, but not like this! The zipper operating is very smooth with no worries of it slipping a tooth or getting bound up, and the velcro to hold the handles together is very nicely attached. All the important stress points have reinforced stitching. If you are worried about the legs of the camp Oven getting damaged, or poking through the bag you have a couple of choices. Choice 1 you can make a plywood disc with recesses for the legs to protect them and the bag. OR Choice 2 you can put the lid in first, with the lip / handle side facing up so that the DO legs rest on top of the lid. This will of course protect the legs and bag as well. I have every confidence that these bags will help protect my cast iron, and my camper for many years to come. I only wish they made somthing similar for the Lodge Multi Cooker…

I put several layers of strong cardboard in bottom to hopefully stop feet perforating through after time, hence 4 stars. Other than that it fits well and still has a little room to store lid stand or other small items

This thing is a game-changer for transporting cast iron Dutch ovens on trips. Spacious, padded, and well made. I use it with my 4-quart campfire-style Dutch oven (in other words, the one with the legs and lipped lid), and there’s still enough room left over in the bag for my 10″ cast iron skillet (in it’s own padded cover). The zipper is good quality, and the webbing handles are secure. If you want to protect your Dutch oven (or other camping cookware), this is well worth the purchase.
