The placemats are beautifully crafted and have a cloth backing to keep them from scratching the surface. They are bright and shine in the light.We are using (using being the operative word) them on the breakfast bar and they are eye catching. Just clean food off right away; don’t let crumbs accumulate.The placemats were thoughtfully packaged with bubble wrap.
