I loved this idea so ordered. Kind of flimsy tray and outside plastic so not the sturdiest but works as discribed. Have to toast home made bread on six and then it is just barely toasted. Still I really like it. The ledge under the open tray is a pain to clean but better than regular toaster trays. Takes away less space on my counter st that was a plus. Really like this concept.

The toast gets black on level 2 I have too keep a eye on it and hit the cancel but so it won’t burn the toast up. that’s not how it’s supposed to work it should come down with our burning the toast.

Nice idea for a toaster, and the slim size was a good fit. After just a few weeks though, the return’pop up’ mechanism occasionally got caught in the down position. A few weeks later the return stopped working all together, which is not only inconvenient, but dries out the toast if you are not right there to get dig it out a fork.We were just past the Amazon return limit of 30 days, so we contacted the company for a warranty repair. Still waiting for a return email or phone call weeks later.So the toast return feature does not work, and neither does the factory return option. DO NOT BUY.

Use this for my bagels every morning only thing I donât like about it is that itâs a little difficult pushing down the handle to start it. Other than that it works as it should and does take up too much counter space.

I wanted a toaster with a wide slot because while I only toast one piece of bread at a time, I usually buy artisan bread and it never fit into the single slot of my old toaster. I’d have to toast one half and then flip it over to toast the second half. This toaster toasts the wide slices without any problems. It is large – reminds me of a boom box – but I think it’s attactive. I thought the concept of the toast sliding out onto a tray was interesting and innovative. In my old toaster I often had to use wooden tongs to fish the toast out if it was narrow and occasionally my toaster would eject the toast so forcefully, it would end up on the floor, This feature works well, although the tray, when extended does take up even more room. What is not working as well is the evenness of the toasting. The edges of the bread get darker than the center and one side seems to get darker than the other. It is difficult to push down the lever, but you don’t have to push it down the entire height of the toaster. Also, a few seconds after the toast comes out the inside rack returns to it’s starting position and makes a loud noise. Not a terrible thing, but annoying. Still, it’s fun to see the toast sailing out onto the tray and I have not had any problem with it ending up on the counter or floor. I have not tried the bagle or gluten options. So far, I like this toaster but I don’t know if over time I will learn to love it or hate it! And it seems really silly to be so picky about something that certainly does the job well enough.

It was a lot bigger than I thought
This toaster was a lot bigger than I thought, and it has been somewhat difficult to operate. The “push down” handle is hard to push down. The toast is not evenly toasted on any setting. But after several tries we were able to get it to work.
