Great for Dog’s Meal Prep
I wanted to be able to prep my dog fresh meals, but no “dog bowls” come with lids. These are PERFECT. I prep him a week of fresh meals, put them in the fridge or freezer, and then take them out as needed. Love that I can stack these while they’re full so they take up very little space. I’ve pretty much stopped using any other feeding vessel for my dog.

Nice Dishes
These ramekins are very nice and much less expensive than bigger name brands. The only problem that I had was getting the lids to fit correctly. They are silicone and just slip over the dish, and sometimesair would get trapped between the dish and the lid and then the sides of the lid would slide up. I didn’t subtract a star because once I got the knack of pushing the air out while pressing on the lid, they stopped sliding up.

Ramekin came out of oven with gray spots and lids don’t fit: too small.
After using in the oven, gray spots appeared on the inside of the ramekin. Not good. And the silicone lids are too small and cannot be stretched to fit. They can never be like a sealed lid to prevent spills or to keep food covered in refrigerator. I wish I had gotten another brand of dishes with glass or ceramic lids that fit instead.

Ramekins are good, covers are terrible
Got these ramekins primarily because they had covers that could withstand high heat. (For steaming items in the ramekins.) The problem with the silicone covers is that they don’t stay on the ramekins. Because they are a very tight fit, when there is any moisture, the silicone covers don’t stay on the ramekin and slip off the top. Because I’m streaming the ramekin’s it’s impossible to avoid moisture. Even after steaming and putting the ramekin in the refrigerator, if you don’t have something on the ramekin, the cover will slip off and your food will be exposed to the air in the refrigerator. The ramekins are perfectly fine, but the covers are a disaster. If you want covers that withstand high heat for a ramekin these are not the ones to get.Note: I have smaller ramekin’s (from a different company) that have covers that are not rated for high heat cooking, so I use foil to cover the ramekin. After cooking I use the covers that fit snugly and perfectly for storage in the refrigerator. I was hoping the silicone covers would eliminate using foil during cooking, but looks like the covers don’t work well for cooking as well as storing in the refrigerator. Disappointed.

Although the actual souffle cup is great; the whole point of purchasing this kind was to get the corresponding lids, so we can store leftovers. Unfortunately, the lids do not fit and slip off, and therefore, they are useless.
