Perfect if you love dessert!
These ramekins are not just cute, they’re perfect for a hearty serving of creme brulee…or a French onion soup starter! The lids are a bonus, and they’ll help prevent your dish from going stale in the fridge. I really like the different designs, as they coordinate but don’t exactly match.

8 oz Ramekin Set
Good quality ramekin set. Perfect size for baking and serving individual desserts. The lids seem to not perfectly stay in place, but that doesn’t bother me really as I would normally use them for baking and not for storing anything in them.

5-star ramekins, 1-star lids
I got these to make creme brulee, and the ramekins themselves worked very well for that. The size was just right, the embossed designs are cute, and they survived the oven and the dishwasher with no problem. The lids, on the other hand, are utterly useless. They don’t stay on at all. I gave up trying to get them to seal and just set the lids on top so I could stack the brulees in the fridge to chill, and they barely stayed put. A couple fell off when I picked them up. Basically, if you want functional lids, don’t buy these.

Oven safe
These ramekins are a great size for individual servings, like pudding, ice cream, or dips. The porcelain material feels sturdy and theyâre oven-safe, which is great for baking small portions. Theyâre stackable, which makes storage easier. The lids arenât the best, but they do the job if you need to cover them up. Theyâre easy to clean and dishwasher-safe, which is a big plus. Overall, theyâre practical for everyday use, especially if you’re into baking or serving individual portions.

Lids donât fit.
The ramekins are cute, but I bought them because of the lid option and theyâre a little bit too big they donât seal and they tend to pop off. Iâm returning them, but I just also bought another type with silicone lids and those pop off too.

Nice Porcelain Pudding dishes!
The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is the size. While it’s true that they can hold a full 8-ounces of liquid, that is right up to the rim. At the inner rim (marked in my picture with a red arrow), they hold just under 7 ounces. If you try to stack them, or if you put the lids on them, that 8 ounces will be limited to about 7 ounces.I actually like the lids — they are full-seal plastic lids with a silicone inner seal, and a sealing vent. So If you have warm custard in them, you can put the lid on, and leave the vent open to cool, and yet be able to close them completely when they have cooled. That’s a nice feature. The things that could be improved (beside the slight size increase to make it a practical 8 ounces at that inner rim), includes the number system indented into the lid. They are hard to rotate, and you need a strong magnifying glass to read the day. If the numbers were embossed in black to stand out against the white background, I could use this feature, but as it stands, the feature is useless to me.We use ours a lot. We had a set of 6 almost 40 years ago, and that set has dwindled down to just 2 left, So this will make a great replacement/addition to our cupboard. With a set of 6 dishes, and 6 lids, it also makes a nice set, to give as a gift (would make a great wedding, anniversary, or house-warming gift).
Customer Review –
So useful in the kitchen
This may be a controversial take, but I believe every kitchen should have a good set of ramekins. Even if, like me, you never have or ever plan to make creme brûlée, ramekins are useful in so many ways.I use them to organize ingredients when cookingâspices in one, garlic and onion in another, soy sauce, vinegar, or cooking wine in a third. Then, when Iâm ready to add them to a hot pan, theyâre ready to go, quick and easy. I also use them for dipping sauces and to serve olives or nuts when weâre entertaining. So much better than using large bowls when small ramekins will do.These ramekins are well-made, with a flawless glaze finish. Theyâre a good size for plenty of uses, and they come with tight-fitting lids for storing small amounts of food. These lids are thoughtfully designed with a pointer that lets you indicated when the food youâre storing was madeâso you donât have to worry about the vintage of foodstuffs that donât age well.Overall, Iâm very fond of these ramekins and can recommend them highly.

Primarily desert ramekins
Small but good quality. A great size for deserts. The covers fit perfectly and have a steam release. Nice solid ramekins.
