Perfectly designed cutting board
This is a gift, and my second purchase of this cutting board. Itâs a great board for any kitchen job. One side has a groove for catching liquid (whatever your thing is, meat juices or watermelon juice) and the other is flat. It fits right over my sink so if you have a particularly juicy cutting job, the juices drain directly into the sink via the hole cut out! Smart. Very happy with this cutting board. Be sure to pick up some food grade mineral oil to keep it from drying out. Easy maintenance.

This is a good cutting board, although even after just a few uses it is showing significant wear from cuts and stains (only use this for vegetables). Also, not a fan of the trough that runs around the edge, makes it more difficult to slide chopped items right off of the side.

What a deal
This is a huge cutting board for the price I paid (on sale). It fits perfectly over my sink. My cat likes to jump up and drink water from the sink. So, I did this to keep her out of my kitchen sink because it is gross. I love the extra counter space. Very happy with this purchase.

The look is really nice, but the quality you expect from paying for the Kraus brand isn’t there. This feels like cheap bamboo and every little bit of water leaves rings or stains… Which is kind of dumb for a kitchen product that sits on your sink. My cheaper (but less elegant) true wood board never shows water stains. Yes they can be removed with some rubbing of a damp paper towel, but it always looks stained pretty much. Had I known this I wouldn’t have bought this one.

I have bought this about 1.5 years ago and here I am purchasing it again as the old one developed a splinter and became warped. I only ever hand washed it. I am now re-buying it and this time I am going to ensure that I treat it regularly with a food grade mineral oil which is what I think was recommended. It’s a really nice very sturdy board. I do wish however that there was a slope to the drain lines that are cut into the periphery of the board making water not “sit” in the groove and develop possible mold… It would be nicer if they sloped to the drain hole on the board itself.
