Perfect for stew
I love these pots. They look pretty and are very versatile. I used them for beef stew. I preheated them in low oven and then ladle in the stew. That worked perfectly. The lids also helped keep the stew hot. They would work just as well for onion soup, pot pie, any soup, or even cold desserts like mouse or Pot de Creme. I’m very happy I got them.

Beautiful mini dishes in the color Navy!! Nothing was broken. Packaging was nice and neat with cardboard to seperating pieces. Easy to clean. The only small downside is the lid handle is fairly small. So you have to be careful if using an oven mitt when taking the lid off, so it doesn’t drop or break. Still, 10/10!I used them to make mini sour dough loafs! They turned out perfectly! 🙂

Dutch ovens- always get what you pay for
These are very visually cute and well-made. It was fun to get a set of the red. I bought them to include with potpourri at the holidays as a gift for friends. The size, however, was too small to put on a burner which made the gift impossible to use. Of course I gave it anyway because I was running out of time. I’m sure my friends asked themselves, “What the hell were am I supposed to do with this?” I think it’s too small for leftovers, and I don’t think you would use it for individual servings because it’s cumbersome with the lid. I saw similar at a big box store that were deeper and would’ve worked better, but these were less expensive. Like a full-size Dutch oven that can be incredibly expensive, usually the ones that you pay more for are better quality.

I use these for making my soups. And boy do I like making soups. You can make any kind of soup you want in these. Chicken soup, broccoli soup, beef soup, minestrone soup, tomato soup, mushroom soup, cream of mushroom soup, clam chowder, carrot soup, split pea soup, lentil soup, red bean soup, roasted cauliflower soup, leak and onion soup, French onion soup, cheese soup, chive and endive soup, bone broth soup, ox tail soup. And the list goes on. You can even make stews! Chicken stew, steak and potato stew, potato and bacon stew, Irish stew, lamb stew, carrot and leek stew, pork stew, turkey stew, roasted veggie stew, goat stew, bison stew. And that list goes on and on. You can even make many other things like pot pies, deserts, small breads, and more. I highly recommend these.

purchased these to replace 10 cm pieces (which were always too small).Great colour (red gradient)……….actually matches my (recently purchased) LODGE dutch ovens (2).

They came very fast – which is great! I did a test run with one using sourdough and in an oven temp of 425F for 15 min lid on and another 10-15 min lid off. Stood up to the temp and the RISE!!! It was great for a tiny loaf. No preheating needed and I did use a ceramic pizza round on the lower shelf to prevent burning on the bottom. Worked. The next bake with these will be mini loaves with inclusions – ps using parchment paper does prevent sticking to sides and bottom – as in any dutch oven Buy them if this is something you are thinking of doing – price is right and they are cute
