Temporary set to get started
For cheap knives these look nice but will have a very short life. The knives are not balanced well, nor are they particularly heavy, the obvious sign of quality in a good knife. The knives are sharp out of the box and just like more expensive knives, will need to be resharpened regularly. How well they keep their edge remains to be seen. I needed something temporary because I did not have a few hundred dollars for the set I wanted, so I cut corners for these. At least I am not cutting the cheese with my pocket knife now, and for starters these is a nice economical set of knives that will do the job for a time.

Great value
I got these for a starting kitchen knife set, and so far I am super happy with them! They seem nicely sharp out of the box, and so far the quality has been good. With a wipe down and spot on the counter I am ready to go. There are definitely nicer knife sets out there, but for my normal use I am more then okay with these. It’s great to have the steak knives too, that was a nice touch to include. I never run these through the dishwasher as I like to handwash metal items I want to last a while, so your mileage will vary there.

The Bifixia 16-piece knife set initially seemed like a great addition to my kitchen with its built-in sharpener and anti-slip handles, but unfortunately, the knives started rusting after only a few uses. While the set is versatile and dishwasher safe, the rust issue has been disappointing.

Awesome budget knife set
This knife set and block look dashing on my countertop. I’ve been using them a while and they do need sharpening more often than others. But, no problem. I have an electric knife sharpener and it’s done quickly. This set would make a great housewarming gift.

some design issues, but decent set
This is a very impressive starter knife set. I appreciate that it is an all-encompassing set that a user can count on for whatever needs arise. The listing indicates that these knives are dishwasher safe and that is accurate, but be aware that the smooth silver matte sheen that I noted in my initial impression of the set was not quite as spectacular after running them through the dishwasher. The seam of the knives became a lot more noticeable after the dishwasher, and highlighting the fact that the handles are hollow is something you should avoid if you can. To that point, the knives feel good in the hand but are relatively lightweight. If you want these knives to remain beautiful I recommend hand washing.The sharpness of the set is impressive, I have not had any issues with capability.The main notes I have regarding this set actually have to do with the block in which they are stored. First, the scissors, which are scissors in name alone because these things are the real and scary deal, will not insert into the block beyond their hinge. This would not be an issue if the handles were not so sturdy and heavy. This speaks well of the shears but not so much the design of the block. The second issue with the block pertains to the 6 steak knives in the lower section. In putting the steak knives into the block, I realized that the knives cannot be put in blade down, otherwise known as the most intuitive way and the way every other knife block does it. Attempts to put the knives in blade-side down will stop the knife short and will also tear up the bottom of the slot. This is just plain weird. There were no instructions other than what was on the outside of the box. The pictures in the listing show the knives in the standard manner, but I donât see how this is possible.A separate and random note is that they come with a set of 6 extra long forks. Fondue.Overall this is a great starter set of decent knives, perhaps as a housewarming gift for someone just starting out. They function great in that role.

I love how well these knives cut and how easy they are to store and clean. Theyâre built from great stainless steel. They have been rust resistant and thatâs a plus for me. Theyâre a great value to have and they look so great in my kitchen
