What a difference!
I have always prided myself on sharp knives. When my (other brand name) sharpener of many years simply wore out, I wanted to replace it with one that also sharpens scissors. This is the cats pajamas! It is very easy to use (read the instructions) and the results are spectacular. I did not realize how dull my knives had become, despite using the old sharpener. (The old one is now in the garage for pruners and garden blades.) This sharpener give really good results. It has a ceramic de-burring groove, but I still use a honing steel for perfection. The sharpener is attractive and sleek. It can be used either right-handed or left. Read the instructions on proper use…dont assume! Recommended.

Great knife sharpener
This knife sharpener is one of the best that I have had in a while. I normally buy them from may local store but I decided to try out this one. The ones that I buy at the local store do not last for very long. I have tried this out and it works wonderfully. I have sharpened just about every knife in my house. It has not even stated to dull. I live the handle that folds out. It makes it very easy to store.
