Very pleased with product n purchase. It works well, my knives were getting so dull. And I started pushing harder on my knives to cut, I only sharpened my knives a little for now, because I’ve got to get used to not pressing so hard after they fully get sharpened, ( safety reason) I will gradually get them back to sharp and be able to cut with more ease. . I’ve noticed on video reviews, some viewers were slicing their knives back n forth. (PLEASE DONT DO THAT) read directions. It is very simple to use and quickly it sharpened my knives in just 3 passes thru the sharpener fast and smooth. It is well designed , and is nice looking to keep on counter if desired, and is also nicely shaped to fit neatly away to store, it is a good value. I’m very pleased with product n purchase.

Good starter
This is a rather small sharpener but it seems to do all right. Doesn’t sharpen like my mothers used to. But then again I purchased the least expensive unit. Not knowing what to expect. It just takes a little longer than the top of the line models to sharpen my knives. Thus the four stars.

It works best on a large knife. Smaller thinner knives have a tough time hitting the rotating sharpening stones well, but the larger knives do well. And Take Your Time, move smoothly and steady while pulling the knife through the slots. Not slow nor fast or the blade will be uneven.

Great sharpener that will ultimately become e-waste due to lack of after-market grinder wheels.
I tried this sharpener, it works great. It even comes with replacement grinder wheels.I can’t find any more replacement grinder wheels for purchase. Since the manual says you can sharpen 100 knives that means I’ll probably be trying to recycle this unit within less than 2 years. Kind of a shame – especially since they could sell me the grinder stones for a considerable mark-up – I would buy them now so that I had them in stock.
