This is a sharpener that will make a knife edge very sharp! I believe that knife sharpening is an art and that knives should be conditioned on a regular basis. This may not be a system to sharpen knives that have been neglected and very dull. If your knives are in good condition needing that keen, accurate, sharp cutting edge this system will give you years of service. If a knife needs a lot of metal removed to establish a new sharp edge, this system may not be what you are looking for.

It’s very good. There are two kinds of grinding blades, 1000 mesh and 400 mesh. In addition, it is equipped with three pairs of replacement pieces. I feel that it can be used for a long time. After all, I don’t sharpen the knife so frequently, lol.

It is a good sharpener and easy to use. Gives a good edge even to inexpensive knives. Spare discs were missing from the box. There should be three of each grit. Only the discs installed on the sharpener were present. Plus I cannot find a way to contact seller.
