I was expecting this to be a cool looking fail. I must say this is an awesome knife sharpener. It worked very well with the knives I’ve sharpened so far. It’s easy to use as the instructions are on the sharpener itself. It has adjustable sleeves for different categories of knives and other cutlery. My personal test was cutting a salmon filet in one pass. With our knives, it would take me 3 to 4 passes after sharpening with our old sharpener this time, one pass did the job, and even cut through the scales. Trimming and cleaning chicken breast? Piece of cake. I would definitely recommend this to anyone for its easy of use and the sharpening capability.

Don’t really use it much…
Hard to tell if this is working? Seems like just additional ‘stuff’ in the kitchen, not particularly compact. Adjustable is nice, just not sure how much better this is than a whet stone for honing. Will bring a ‘dull’ knife to ‘not dull’, but the level of sharpness isn’t impressive, and still get a better edge having someone do it by hand on a stone or grinding wheel.
