Too Big, Too Heavy for Me
First, let me say that this is a really nice set of kitchen knives. There are 2 steak knives, kitchen scissors, and one of all of the other essential knives needed for cooking. I laughed when I read the text on one of the images that stated “Sharp As An Axe Unleashing Masculine Fury” I mean, What the heck??? LOL. Anyway, I could tell that the knives were a really good quality, so I ordered them. The set arrived quickly, and I was excited to open them and start using them.But everything was really heavy and huge! Much bigger than I wanted on my kitchen countertop. My plan was to keep those for myself and give my regular set of knives to one of my grown sons. But, I decided that I like my current knives better, because they are lighter weight and easier for me to handle. I ended up giving this set to my brother who was very happy to receive them. He told me that he didn’t have any steak knives and only one cheap knife that he used for all of his cooking.I was glad that he could use them, because they are a really good, quality set of knives. I just need a set like that that’s only about 3/4 the size of those. Not in length, but the height of the knives at the hilt and blade.
