These are not the greatest knifes in the world. Out of the box they are very sharp, but they feel really cheaply made. I would say the quality is lacking. From across the counter they look nice, and they are sharp.

Keep the price in mind when you judge this knife set
There’s nothing of high quality in this set but on the other hand it’s perfectly functional and it’s inexpensive.The knives are not well balanced because they have lightweight plastic handles. These same plastic handles mean that, unlike most quality knives, you can run these through the dishwasher which a plus in my book.These shears don’t snap apart like most food shears. Dishwasher or not, you’ll never be able to get these single piece scissors clean.As a professional sharpener I don’t ever recommend this kind of V notch sharpener but I will admit that it’s better than never sharpening at all. However, don’t use THIS particular V notch sharpener! Throw it away and buy another inexpensive V notch that rests on a counter. This handheld sharpener has you drawing a blade in the direction of your fingers and way too close to your fingers. A moment of distraction and you’ll be making a bloody mess of your hand. Just don’t do it.If you’re looking for an inexpensive but functional knife set that’s a step up from your camping mess kit this might just fit the bill.
